Guest guest
Dear devotees of Sanatan Dharma, Om Klim Sri Sri Radha-Krishnabhyam namah!! At noon today is the appearence janma uttsava of Srimati Radharani - Lord Krishna's babe! Philosophically She is like the personification of God's love for Himself. His counter-whole divine projection. She is said to have been born 2 weeks after Janmastami (Krishnastami) on Radhastami (Shuklastami) at 12 NOON. Is there anyone who can direct us to any reference to Srimati Radharani in the Vedas, Epics or Puranas? In Srimad Bhagavatam (for example) She is not mentioned even once. Radha must be the most well-known " secret " in all the Hindu Shastra, because there seems to be '0' mention of Her. Does anyone have Shastric reference to Srimati Radharani (modern authors since 10th century excluded). I mean bona fide " Shastra " Veda-purana. Any reference is most welcome... JAYA RADHE!!! Best wishes Richard Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.
Guest guest
Hari bol Hrsikesa I did a search of the vedabase with the word >bumblebee< This brought many results including 10.47.11 In the purport is mentioned Jiva Goswami's quote of a verse from the Agni Purana regarding the pastime with Uddhava/ bumblebee messenger. The sanskrit of the verse is given but not the verse numbers. The Agni Purana verse translation, mentioning Radha by name, is also given.
