Guest guest
Q: Anukul / Pratikul Planetary Gem Choosing Philosophies: What is the final say " Should we use gem of the weak planet or the strong planet " ? Can any one please answer? ---This is a wrong question. This person has confused strong with Anukul and weak with pratikul. This is incorrect. Anukul means " favorable " either weak or strong; Pratikul means " unfavorable " either weak or strong. According to PGA guidelines a gem should only be used for a favorable (anukul) graha. If the favorable planet is weak that is all the more reason to make it stronger. Gems do NOT " reverse " anything. " Weak " is " durbala " NOT pratikul. Guest guest
Dear Sirs, I have often seen some people wearing gems on the left hand. I wonder what is the philosophy behind it. Is it that gems for pratikul are worn on the left hand. Please advise. Guest guest
Dear Jay, Namaste!!! Some say left hand is lunar, and right hand solar. Others say left hand for receiving energy, and right for projecting energy. BUT, practically all should be worn on right hand ring finger because left hand is used in toilet. Unless one is left handed they should use all gems on the right hand. That is practical and my opinion which I follow. Kali Yuga pandits talk only about weight and finger, when in fact they don't even know what is a gem (quality NOR ID). They overlook important things and only spout nonsense to earn money. Earning money is OK - but spouting hogwash is not OK. Best wishes, Richard --- Jay Munshi <jaymunshi wrote: > Dear Sirs, > > I have often seen some people wearing gems on the left hand. Guest guest
Hello Sir, Thanks much! I am in agreement that gems should be worn on the working hand. One more question. This is regarding Diamond. Should Diamond not be worn on the thumb since the base of the thumb is the mount of Venus? Generally I have seen people wearing diamond on the ring finger (anamika). Does this give the desired results? Please advise. Best Regards, Jay Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: Dear Jay,Namaste!!! Some say left hand is lunar, and right hand solar. Guest guest
Yes, ring finger of right hand is the best for all gems, including diamond. People should not mix up palmistry and gemology. Wearing a diamond on the thumb is not practical.
