Guest guest
I have heard that this particular yantra is installed in the family of Dhirubhai Ambani. Recently, I came across a post on it, on Mumbai Mirror. Its a bizarre story and could even be a Nigerian scam. I would love to hear the opinion of knowledgeable members of this community. There is a Kailash Dhanaraksha Yantra on Indiayogi website. Is it the same as this design ? Following are the links - http://www.mumbaimirror.com/net/blog/index.asp? page=5 & id=596758735_20070405_203750925 & from= & cdate= http://www.mumbaimirror.com/net/blog/index.asp? page=5 & mode=child & ID=94137799320070508220707_596758735_20070405_2037509 25 & cdate=4/5/2007 Below is the post --- KAILASH DHANARAKSHA YANTRA TALISMAN (Also known at various times in history as: " Kaylash Talisman " & " The Kaiser's Charm " ) We Offer USD $ 15 Million for this artifact. We Offer 8% as commission to facilitators/mediators We can arrange to pay in your local currency. We have also joined the world-wide search for an item long pursued by politicians, celebrities, corporate heads, museums and private collectors. We also know that there is only one piece in existence in the world. We have researched into the history of this artifact. THE LEGEND :- The " Kailash Dhanaraksha Yantra " talisman was created by sacred Hindu, Buddhist and Tantric ritual called a `yagna' on the slopes of Mt. Kailash in the Himalayas. Cast in crude brass sometime in circa 812-824 AD (more than 1180 years ago), it is believed that only one piece exists. It is believed to have been so powerful on the last day of its creation, that it was allowed to `gestate' or `cool off' for another 144 days around the neck of a perfectly healthy wild tiger. This Talisman has helped people of all religions and beliefs to amass great wealth and power. It is believed to contain a trapped " tulpa " ( in Tibetan that means spirit ). The claim is that the KDY `has never once failed to meet the wishes and ambitions of its possessors throughout its history'. We do a lot of our verification on the internet through Google search. We discovered that the " tulpa " is a mystical ghostly 'thought-form' that Tibetans believe in. A spirit born solely from the imagination, and yet so strongly visualized so as to actually materialize or cause things to happen! There are claims that the tulpa feels the vibrations and `hears' the inner desires of the wearer of this talisman, and begins the irreversible process to meet ones desires. We may not believe in such miracles! But we have very good reasons to believe the brass Talisman exists. Two 1960 black & white photographs of the Talisman exists which has been repeatedly published in many newspapers. In fact we have copies of the two photographs showing the front surface and the rear surface. The 1960 photograph was apparently taken by a Duncan Brother's tea planter on the request of Keshav Prasad Goenka, father of Rama Prasad Goenka of the Hindustan Times. Just as the talisman has no permanent owner, these photographs also have been circulating in the media for many years. In fact we noticed the website `esnips' also carries the photos of the original KDY. We have researched and translated manuscripts in many parts of the world. We know Marco Polo possessed the talisman in 1272 AD. As it changed hands, others who possessed this yantra include John Dee (1546), Francois Berenger Sauniere (1892), Marie Denarnaud, Alexandra David-Neel, Viceroy and Lady Curzon, Sultan of Brunei, Howard Huges, Dhirubai Ambani etc. Today it resides somewhere presumably in South India in the hands of a private collector. Elsewhere on the internet it is said that it is in the possession of a coins and currency collector at the South Indian city of Bangalore. The Kailash Talisman is hand-made from a brass mould in the shape of a large flat pendant. The disc-shape is an imperfect circle. The brass plate is thick along one arc of its circumference and thin on another. There is a small projection in the form of a brass loop on the top circumference to pass a string or thong. Twelve animals similar to the Chinese calendar are depicted on the front face in a circle, along and around its circumference. Close to the edge of the brass plates are tiny circles forming a chain of spots. Towards the centre are eight sets of three broken lines placed in an octagon as seen on a Korean flag, within a serrated circle of 5.9 cm. The centre has symbolic markings drawn in nine boxes. Dividing a circle into nine parts with serrated lines forms the boxes. Diameter 10.3 cm (vertically), 10.6 cm (horizontally) Weight : Exactly 220 gms. To identify the original talisman is not difficult. On the reverse the brass plate is flat, crudely finished by hand, as if beaten to shape. No symbols, designs or impressions have been engraved on this side. Yet this side is like a `finger-print', because the original imperfections on the rough surface provide clear markings in metal to distinguish the real talisman from any attempts at imitation. The imperfections of the metal cast and especially of its crudely finished reverse must exactly match the only authentic photograph of it, taken in 1960 by Keshav Prasad Goenka. The crude impressions on this reverse side cannot be duplicated in brass even by the best of forgers as it is pockmarked with unique imperfections. We offer to buy the Talisman for our collection. Anyone with any information on its whereabouts may please contact us. We will negotiate with the owner/seller once his willingness to sell is confirmed.
