I have used them and the effects are spontaneous. As a rudraksha wearer and salesperson for Rudra Center, I can definitively tell you that while rudraksha work, they show their effects in time and therefore you want something very quick. A homam, not a puja, will accomplish your aims. The joy of a yajna is that one does not have to bother holy people with their own selfish issues, but can do it really themselves. In the sense of setting it up and so forth. It’s like one becomes a rishi for a day. Of course, one must feel some connection to the pundits, or like the comment said, it will be “from the internet” basically like saying “from another planet.” But that’s not the case. I have used all of the inexpensive pundit places on the net and out of them I get the best results from www.kalighat.net and www.puja.net. Of course everyone deserves their own opinion Nonetheless, at least I have praised and promoted the Vedas and their own. Yet for marital harmony, A yagam or homam reciting Samvadha Sookhtam is performed with 5, 7 or 11 vedic pundits, The homam is a very elaborate one. An experienced astrologer like Padmanabhan of Trichur or Uniikrishnan of Parappanangadi from the traditional Kerala system would be better to consult. I pray for peace in your family.
