As far as Jade or Coral is concerned, it depends on color and quality, which must be very high, to be considered a " gem " . For Ganesh murti red coral is most appropriate (in my opinion). But how red coral will effect you depends on the coral quality as well as your Mars influence. You're better off with Rudraksha. Jade and Red Coral are gems when Jyotish Quality. Better stick with Rudraksha.
