Guest guest Posted December 22, 2009 Report Share Posted December 22, 2009 Blessed Ayyappas,I have been going to Ayyappa Sannidhi from the age of 7 ( my father tokk me for the first time through Vandiperiyar route ) and then onward evry year except one or two I have been blessed to trek to Sabarimali and be there in the presence of Sami. It is worth to mention that in 1979, after my Engg. I was blessed to visit Ayyappa every month on the first of malayala masam along with my cousin guru Swami Kumaran Sir from KOTTAYAM. During that period hardly there were 200/ 300 devotees and mostly we were accomodated with in the basement of the temple complex where all were provided with rice cooked with ghee, kappa and some vegetables altogether. All done by the assitants of the Mel Shanthi group. Even now the tast of that prasadam do not fade away. I am now 55. I am scheduled to go to Ayyappa on 1st Jan 2010 with my son ( studying MBBS) . Currently I am in Venezulea working in ONGC Videsh Ltd. Ayyappa is al provider and there is no need to pray, he provides all by just remebering him and you are part of him. That is my experience. My be once he will make me to meet you all and share all our experineces. I have a house in Kochi and in case any of you need any assistance when you go to Sabarimalai , Ayaapa will be providing that help though my house and facilities. Please feel free to use it with prior information.
