Following are the programs are to be held at Sri Sringeri Shankar Mutt, Chamarajpet, Bangalore. Details are in the pamphlet which is attached. 24th Dec'09 - Ashta Dravya Sahasra Modaka Ashtotra Pratyaksha Mahaganapathi Homam, Rudra Jata Parayanam, Nama Samkeerthanam & Bhagavathi Seva 25th Dec'09 - Pratyaksha Maha Ganapathi Homam, Mahanyasa Purasara Rudra Abhishekam, Sahasranama Archana to Lord Ayyappa and Sasthapreethy and Anjaneya Utsavam Ashta Dravya Sahasra Modaka Ashtotra Pratyaksha Mahaganapthi Homam is being performed wherein 8 various dhravyams like appam, modakam, kozhakattai, karumbu, fruits, etc are offered as ahuti and in 1008 pieces. While the ahutis are being given, 108 brahmacharis would be invoked in the various Naamas of Mahaganapathi and would be done sodashopachara puja and fed food. This way, it becomes a Pratyaksha homam which is witnessed by Maha Ganapathi himself. On behalf of the Sangha, it gives us immense pleasure to invite one and all for the activities.
