Guest guest
Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa! With the grace of the Lord, my wedding was on September 6th. I would like to visit Sabarimala after taking mala. My friends and family advise that immediately after marriage, our minds would not be in a control and to leave at least a month. I know that for the sake of my pet and God (Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa), I can control my mind to any extent. But to adhere to other norms and regulations, I would like to know what is the period of rest we have to give after marriage before taking the mala. A wedding in Hindu customs means transition from Brahmacharya to Grihastashram right? I have discussed this with my spouse too. What is the normal regulation to take mala? Should we allow some time period after marriage to take the mala? Thanks and Regards, -- Deepak Kumar Vasudevan
