Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa!

With the grace of the Lord, my wedding was on September 6th. I would like to visit Sabarimala after taking mala.  My friends and family advise that immediately after marriage, our minds would not be in a control and to leave at least a month. I know that for the sake of my pet and God (Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa), I can control my mind to any extent. But to adhere to other norms and regulations, I would like to know what is the period of rest we have to give after marriage before taking the mala. A wedding in Hindu customs means transition from Brahmacharya to Grihastashram right?

I have discussed this with my spouse too. What is the normal regulation to take mala? Should we allow some time period after marriage to take the mala?

Thanks and Regards, -- Deepak Kumar Vasudevan

After pregnancy upto 5 months yo can go to sabari mala. Enjoyment itself is iyappa. Family life is other side of Lord siva and parvathi. Please take care of your family first. Go to any nearby Iyappa

temple with your spouse. Iyappa is present every where.
