Guest guest
Swami Saranam. It is not only visiyting any house where death occured. All Swami's who wear the Holy Mala are prohibited from visting houses where Ladies are i their monthly cycles or death, which are considered to be in auspicipus as the swami with mala is Ayyappa Himself. Guest guest
Dear Swamies!!Not only that reason.... but wearing holy mala he himself considered as LORD AYYAPPA. and LORD AYYAPPA is Brahmachari....means he himself away from all the " LOUKIKA SUKHAM " of this world so there is no question of visiting a dead man's house!! or anywhere, except temples. In earlier days, after wearing mala, swamis are mostly stayed in temples only and no contact with their respective homes or relatives. Hope you understand points.SWAMIYE SARANAM!! Guest guest
   Dear Laxmi,  Don't think that Ayyappa is doesn't like girls!!  It's because he is a brahmachari, moreover a sanyasi, who like peace, and u can see that he himself sit in a mood of " DHYANAM " . Only once in a year he will awake to bless his devotees.  It's because in earlier days it was very difficult to go sabarimala for woman as all the way full of forest and difficult to travel through all the hard way for them.  And a brahmachari is always like away from woman, because of somany reason.  So try to understand that GOD is everywhere, and sure you can consider him as your father, friend and whatever you mean!!  SWAMI SARANAM!!     On 8/15/09, rama lakshmi <sivarami_7 wrote: i have one doubt..i'm a girl...i like ayyappa swamy very much...i'm seeing ayappa swamy as my friend and father..but many telling ayappa swamy don't like girl...pls clarify my doubt--- On Wed, 28/1/09, Vijay Nair <vijay.nair254 wrote: Vijay Nair <vijay.nair254 Re: SWAMI, Please clarify my doubtvb_bala2000, sriayyappan Received: Wednesday, 28 January, 2009, 10:27 AM Dear Swamies!!Not only that reason.... but wearing holy mala he himself considered as LORD AYYAPPA. and LORD AYYAPPA is Brahmachari. ...means he himself away from all the " LOUKIKA SUKHAM " of this world so there is no question of visiting a dead man's house!! or anywhere, except temples. In earlier days, after wearing mala, swamis are mostly stayed in temples only and no contact with their respective homes or relatives.
