A book on Lord Maha Shastha

 

We are pleased to introduce ourselves as " Sri Maha Shasthru Seva

Sangam " which has been formed and registered for the purpose of

spreading the glory of Lord Maha Shasta.

 

We are in a process of completing a detailed book on Lord Maha Shastha

for which we are working for the past 12 years. This Is Not A Regular

Ayyappa book containing only the story of Pandalam, Mahishi and

pradhishta at Shabarimala. This contains Rare and unknown Purana

Stories(originally from the Puranas), Many puja kalpams, giving

answers to many doubts.

 

Though the worship of Shastha is very much common and widespread,

there is no proper book so far containing all the aspects of the Lord.

Many devotees expressed their wish that a compilation may be done on

the significance of the Lord. The search of light started 12 years

ago, traveling cross and wide to many temples, volumes of texts,

manuscripts and inscriptions. Finally by the grace of Lord, it has

resulted in the Book, Shri Maha Shastha Vijayam

 

To highlight a few aspects of the book, " SHRI MAHA SHASTHA VIJAYAM " ,

the book contains:

 

Ø About 70 Puranic Stories with Lord Hariharaputra as the main theme

divided into Five Kandams

 

Ø Notable age-old temples of Shastha in India and their history

 

Ø 5 rare Sahasranamas of Shastha – from Puranas and Puja Kalpas and 2

Trishatis

 

Ø Complete Puja Kalpam with Avarana

 

Ø 11 Ashtothras for Shastha

 

Ø Ashtothras for Poorna and Pushkala

 

Ø Moola Manthras for Various Shasthas

 

Ø Various forms of Shastha - paintings (almost 20 forms of Shastha)

 

As ordained by Lord Shastha, this is an elaborate and detailed book on

the Supreme Lord prepared in tamil, subsequently to be translated into

other languages.

 

The book is very first of its kind and is running to 400-500 pages

almost to the extent of an encyclopedia.

 

Even many Guruswamis and senior upasakas of Lord Shastha had expressed

their happiness and had blessed the project.

 

Total cost estimated for the project is around Rs. 2,75,000/- to Rs.3

Lakhs

 

Now, we are planning to publish the book, we request you to help make

this effort a big success. You / your company / your Centre and its

members can do this by sponsoring the project partly of fully. Your

Sponsorship will be given right acknowledgement and projection in the

book.
