Guest guest
Swami Saranam, I will be proceeding for Sabarimala today. I have two 2 queries: 1) we are planning for Eremuli to Pampa through the walking forest route for next year. Please tell us when does the rout starts, what we heared is that they don't allow using that route from the start of Mandala Masam. 2) One of our Swami will be visiting Sabarimala for 18Year (next Year). he came to know that after completing 18 years. Swami is not allowed to go through Pathinettapadi (18 divine steps) to temple. they can enter the temple through other way/door. Please guide us on both the queries. Guest guest
Swami Saranam 1. Officially the 'Peru Valzhi' opens on Jan 1st, after a function in Erumeli. But normally devotees are going for Mandalam (from Nov 15th onwards) also, through this Valzhi. Going in November is not safe and you will face lot of problems (there won't be no viri, shops, lesser crowd, more water in Azutha crossing, etc.,.), So you can go in December. 2. We can repeat as many 18 years - ie., after finishing 18 years, he can start from 1st year. On 18th year normally Swami must carry a 'Coconut sappling' and it should be handed over to 'Mel Sandhi' (Mel sandhi supposed to plant that in forest / temple land); You can see Some Guruswamis taking two or three such sapplings - which means they are completing 36 ~ 54 years. Hope you will get more replies. Anbudan N.Jayakumaranil babar <anil_sbabar wrote: Swami Saranam, I will be proceeding for Sabarimala today.
