Guest guest
Swami Sharanam, As for your query on how long it takes to reach Shabarimala... it depends on from which place r you starting.... Once you reach Kerala.. get down at Chenganur(nearest railway station)/ Trivandrum or Cochin(nearest airport) ,you wil get buses to Shabrimala,Both private and Public transport. But if you are going for the first time make SURE you get down at Erumeli(VAVAR,ayyapans friends)Mosque is here.As per puranas going to Shabrimala is fruitless without offering prayers to Vavar. Any which ways You will get Buses till the Foothill of Shabarimala(nr. Pampa River) from there on you have to climb shabrimala on your foot which is abt 7Kms. I hope this satisfies you.
