MAHAKUMBHA , 2010 HARIDWAR ,INDIA...

the river,

the sand,

the water ,

the dust,

millions' footsteps,

cheering crowd,

overwhelming joy .

for!

a holy dip in ganges,

earning virtues,

washing sins,

the coolness,

calmness,

the serenity,

tranquility,

no pain, no suffering,

just prayers, mantras,

continuous chanting..

this was the beauty,

for biggest crowd,

world has ever witnessed..

my heart goes with it,

my head bows down,

what a country i am born,

my humblest gratitude,

my deepest gratefulness,

thank you lord,

you have gifted me ,

this great life.

om guru om ! hope u all are in great joy. i am delighted to be back to my

ABODE..but same time little sad to leave behind the great city where millions

are spending their precious time , while chanting, meditating,taking holy dip in

ganges on this most eventful, auspicious occasion of MAHAKUMBHA..where unusual

meeting of rare astrological stars are happening effecting deeply peoples'lives

in haridwar.a rare event is happening on celestial level.the whole environment

was appropriate to awaken your holiness within.that is the beauty of

kumbha.morning starts with vedic chantings, mantras, holy bath in ganges.all

over spiritual discourses, holy feasts and sadhus, seers, sages,hermits,

renunciates from all over the world. it looks like the great assembly of

spiritual ones gathered at one place for one purpose.purification of whole

being.

it was mere coincidence that my 60th birthday fell on 5th march during

mahakumbha. and i got an opportunity to celebrate it in spritual manner with my

people--devotees, disciples..so there was rudrabhishekam, rudra yagna, holy

feast to great seers, sadhus,sannyasis, mahamandaleshwars etc.and every body was

in mood of celebration, festival. it was simply gathering of those who live in

HEART...

" festivity, celebration happens through heart. the head can not celebrate. head

can just think about celebration. it can..think about...about..about..but it can

not celebrate. " a grown- up person- educated, cultivated and conditioned-stop

feeling.he becomes almost dry, dead wood; no juice flows any more. hence there

is so much misery. misery is because of the head.unfortunately all our education

focusses on cultivating the head not heart. and without heart celebration is

impossible.

guru gives you a climate, a season, an environment to cultivate your heart. he

brings you back to your childhood. but this childhood is different from your

natural one. because this chilhood has the mixed flavour of innocence and wisdom

both simultaneously.with this asset attained through the grace of guru you can

easily enter into the realm of your own inner reality, your godliness, your

spiritual..divine zone.head is the biggest obstacle on the path of divinity.it

has to be dropped. and once guru works on you the first thing happens you

deliberately drop your head. in fact you love to drop it , because you realize

its futility.and suddenly awakening happens-awakening of divine

consciousness.with this first time you feel your health. despite of physical

diseases still you feel at ease, healthy, peaceful.perturbance is the real

disease, peace is the real health.and in the state of peace healing

happens-healing of wounded soul.to begin with you can try

these simple devices.

STEP1; BE THE WITNESS-CONSCIOUSNESS

" whatever comes anger, lust, passion just watch it without identifying yourself

with it.graduallygap will grow between witness & thoughts/ emotions. and there

will be a point when you will have control on your mind. the moment your mind

bigins to come under your control, as you gradually start becoming the witness..

you will find that reality; your soul, your actual existence, begins to become

awakened.

this awakening is the start of self awareness meditation.in awakening whatever

comes sooner or later it gets transformed into meditationit leads you to the

center-your center of existence. and to be centered is the essence of awakened

living, balanced living..perfect way of being in this world beyond beyond pain &

pleasure.
