Guest guest
Q.10. How are `Tantrik Mukhs' different from Vedic Yagyas? Ans. As opposed to Vedic Yagya performed during the day, Tantrik Mukhs are executed at night. `Holika Dahan', burning of `funeral pyre' etc. fall in the category of Mukh. Mukhs are performed during night for various reasons. The oblations consist of non-eatable and untouchable objects. The sight too is not pleasant. The associated rituals are predominantly full of Tamogun. There is also no consideration for violence or non-violence during the performance. For all these considerations and to avoid interference from prying, Mukhs are organized at solitary, unknown places in utmost privacy.
