Unless we ourselves have reached that level, how can we decide whether one is of that level or not. Anyone sitting on First floor may think himself to be at the top of the world but there may be -in fact there are- higher levels. Because of that uncertainty, many people are led astry by the claims of fake Gurus. But if spiritual yearning is real, and you are ready to take plunge, you may choose any of the well known systems of Sadhana- for example Vipassana Meditation Under ' Goenkaji- Art of Living under Sri Ravi Shankar- Rajyoga under Brahma Kumaris- Gayatri Sadhana under Shaantikunj, Hardwar (established by Shriram Sharma ji) - or Mantra meditation under Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan Jodhpur - these are comparatively safer to begin with as these are ancient, tried and tested systems for self improvement towards higher realms. There may be God realized souls of the 9th or 10th levels but you have to begin with the first or the level to which you belong ( for which you cannot be the judge)and for that God will manifest himself as a teacher for the appropriate level ( who will teach as per your level of understanding) and not as the teacher for the highest level ( whom you would never understand) Best Wishes! Guest guest Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 Dear divine soul, It's always better to intone Supreme power with any name you like,consisting of not more that two or two and a half words like " Om " or " Ram " and praying Him to provide you with a self realised " Guru " .I am of opininin that " Guru " is never searched and a real devotee gets this opportunity by divine arrangement itself.For some guidances,one should always refer real scriptures with it's true metaphysical concepts so that mile stones may become clearly visible. I may request you to read/listen Bhagavad Geeta on www.yatharthgeeta.com and to get ahead with this exposition at least three times in a row if really liked.I hope,most of questions will automatically be replied. Don't expect any Reward that very moment but you will be rewarded.
