Guest guest
Kini, Haven't you noticed that the words Christ and Krishna have a similar connotation and also have almost the same pronunciation? CHRIST = KRISHNA. He is the one soul who has been send again and again by God, by Brahma, to humanity during Earth's history, during the many epochs in the many cultures on Earth to testify about God, to bring the message of [Cosmic] Love, to set new paradigms, and in general to represent God by pointing the Way to seek Him and meet Him. Bertha Dudde's Prophecies have a special message and is first of all a warning regarding the coming events and Transformation of the planet. As such these Prophecies have a special meaning for the whole world. In no way it is meant to convert people into Christianity, which in fact does not even exist as a single religion since there are many traditions based upon Christianity with their own constructed doctrines and interpretations. Secondly her Prophecies also represent a higher/deeper Interpretation of biblical quotations which transcends the officially allowed churchian Christian doctrines. Many of these deeper interpretations are similar with those given by the owner of this list and other intelligent members who often have based their interpretations on the Bhagavad Geeta. Read mindfully and you will see the many similarities, which is logic since the Truth is Universal and is not bound to one of the many traditions in this world. Bertha Dudde's Prophecies are universal, and only because she happens to be a catholic Christian, will never be an excuse to listen to the message itself and take it as you deem fit. If needed, my counsel would be to replace the words Christ and Jesus in the message by the word Krishna and then even the message itself becomes Hindu. Really, all traditions have a common universal thread; they all contain the same principles: they all testify about the same God and the universal message is as always: seek and find Him. Christ = Krishna, again incarnated 2000 years ago in the mid-east. johan Van: Namens uv kini Verzonden: vrijdag 2 november 2007 5:40 Aan: Onderwerp: Re: THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST.... I am seeing this post as a sort of Christian evangelism. I am not a Christian. I am a Hindu and proud to be one. This kind of post offends my religious sentiments. The one most unique feature of Hinduism is Religious Tolerance. We, Hindus pray to our God, but we at the same time tolerate other religions. This is evident because there is no system of religious conversion into Hinduism. You want to be a Hindu, just be one. No baptism, no being 'born again' etc. This is being exploited by other religions to the detriment of Hinduism. You have said - " The spirit of the Antichrist reigns wherever I Am not recognised. " Hindus do not recognise Christ. They tolerate Him. saying " Ok you are a Christian, fine, go ahead pray to your Christ, we will pray to our Krishna.... " Are you saying the God I pray to is the Anti-Christ??? because I do not pray to Christ ?? I thought the objective of this group was " to explore the divinity in every human-being... " and not try to do one upmanship about one religion vis-a-vis others. This kind of post, according to me, is doing just that. " swadharme nidhanam shreya -para dharmo bhayavapaha " Bhagawad Gita U. Guest guest
Johann, I had made a reply earlier, but the moderators must have let it go into cyber space because they must have felt this was not the proper forum to discuss what was in it. Written English is not pronounced phonetically. Meaning, we do not pronounce words as per the spelling. Christ and Krishna make look similar to you, but they are poles apart in pronunciation and meaning. `Krishna' is not spelt with an `I'. There is no emphasis on `I'. In this post, I cannot reproduce how it is written in Devanagari (Sanskrit), but I can tell you that the pronunciation is something like in the word `crush' . How do you pronounce the word `Fir' (a type of tree)? You pronounce it as `Fur' (skin). Though both are pronounced alike they are spelt differently. So the ` i ` " Krishna " is pronounced something like the `i' in `Fir " . So do not pronounce it as " Kreeshna " . Now to the meaning: Christ is not the name of " Jesus " . It is a TITLE meaning `Annointed one or Saviour/Messiah' In Sanskrit, `Krishna' literally means black / dark skinned one. I do not know whether you are aware of it, but Sanskrit is such a rich language, that different meanings can be construed from each syllable in a word. So it is possible to construe many (meaningful) definitions from the word `Krishna'. The British colonialists had tried many ways to divide and rule India. This fable about the similarity between the two names was just one or their ploys to inveigle and confuse the Indian populace.
