Dear VS,

This happened a while ago and was the most stunning incident which even took me by surprise.

In my trials for marriage, I had hardly seen three horoscopes and I took the duty of seeing the horoscopes myself and selected only one with whom Im wedded now.My parents are really old and I did not want them to run pillar to post in search of a good astrologer.

One lady came to our house and said that she wanted to give her beautiful daughter's in marriage to me.They were related to me of course, in a distant way and she started to narrate the "beerakaya peechu" relationship.I was mentally exhausted listening to her.

I said, "Its ok andi.If the horoscopes match, Im willing to marry your daughter.Please dont trouble her or her father to come now itself.Please give me the horoscope.There is obviously no love-affair with the girl from my side, so maybe we can look into the horoscopes and then decide safely upon the matrimony.Even in that case too, I would like to talk to the girl and maybe meet her once or twice before marriage and then decide upon matrimony andi.Is it ok? Maybe she might not like me, who knows!"

She replied, "Entha maata! You can move frely with her and get to know each other and then marry."

I then kept quite.

Next day, the girl's father and mother came into my house.

They brought an album with her photos.She was indeed a very beautiful girl.Anyone else, would have thought, "TO HELL WITH JATHAKAMS.IM NOT GONNA LET THIS OPPORTUNITY GO BY.I WLL MARRY HER COME WHAT MAY"

I was initially excited seeing the girl's photo(but naturally for an young eligible bachelor like me, that too someone coming to my house on their own accord!)

I then said with some amount of self-control.Please show me the Jathakam.

The first look itself seemed disappointing.The horoscopes did not match.

"Sarvam Eeshwaara iccha", I thought.

I mentally resolved not to entertain any other thoughts for this girl other than sisterly and motherly thoughts.

I immidiately told her parents about this.They were aken aback and said in unision"It is appreciable that you are so knowledgable,educated and spiritual and that too successful on a material level at this age but then this is too much.Do not reject our daughter who looks so beautiful for the sake of a petty horoscope.You will regret it later."

I tried to reason it out with them quoting the effect of the lesser known Karakaamsha.The father was a professor in IIT.He said vehemently, "Look youngman all this is kibosh.Nothing of this sort exists.Horoscopes are dime a dozen.We want you both to be happy"

I replied calmly," Sir, your daughter is beautiful,talented, well educated,artistic and in a good job.You would get in a jiffy if your daughter is not already in a love affair a good suitor.Im not suitable for her.It is my misfortune sir but this is the grahasthithi neverhtless"

He heard me patiently this time and said, "just a sec...why do you say "if she is not already ina love affair"

He was an IITian and an IIT Professor afterall.By the slip of the tounge I had spilt some beans.I was caught redhanded.

I then inidicated that in all possibility she was in a love affair with a guy 7 years elder to her.I also said that the guy has a sarpagandam and that the girl would undergo along with her mother "sashtrachikitsa"

So, I adviced them, "Please conduct the marriage of the girl after she crosses 28 years.Meanwhile ask them both to go to Rameshwaram and do a Nagaprathishta.And for the mother of the girl, she must worship Skanda with Subramanyatrishati archana."

The father laughed out loudly and said, "Are you a panthulu ? or doing some purohit services? I thought you were educated abroad, working in Canada/USA yet you speak even worse than a villager .We came for marriage of our girl to you.If you have nothing better to say, keep your F!@#$ mouth shut."

I was taken aback by the use of the exletive word and decided it prudent to keep quite.

I replied calmly, "Ok sir, Eshwaree iccha.what else can I do for you?"

They both got up with longfaces.The mother apologized fr her husband's outburst against me.

I replied back, "No please dont apologize.I can understand from a father's perspective.I would be glad to help you out astrologically or spiritually if you need my services.Atleast pellaina naa mata vini vaayidhaa veyyandi(atleast postent the marriage date with the boy)"

The father said, "My daughter is a "gem" she wont have any love-affair"

Vidhibaleeyamainadhi,nijam nishtooramainadhi antaaru.('Fate is puissant in its power,Truth bitter in its effect')

The girl indeed had a lover who was her tutor and exactly 7 years elder to her.

Her mother came and told me this one night, around 11:30.

I was shocked to find her before my door at that odd hour and she blurted out the love story.

I invited her and said, "Why trouble yourself at this odd hour madam, you could phoned me and told me this.Now, how will you go to Guindy?(IIT Campus where she stayed)"

She said, "Its ok andi, I will manage"

I then called an auto and then accompanied her from my place in Westmambalam to her place.

In the auto...

She was ilent and then she sobbed, "What if your other prediction regarding the death of the boy due to sarpagandam and the shashtrachikitsa comes out correct"

I said, "Maybe no one can predict death.Please follow the remedy which I said.And if it is apamrityu it will be warded off."

3 months passed.

The lady and the girl both developed a strange cyst in their stomach.The lady who was my second sister's friend(incidentally) wanted to see me in the hospital.

I rushed to he hospital and could see both mother and daughter as per my prediction in the same hospital with the same complaint!!

I saw both of them in terrible pain.The girl looked beaten and worn with the pain.

I held the hands of the old woman and said, "I only said you both will be operated but there is no death or debilitation, thereafter.Please do not worry"

They felt convinced.

Their father who suddenly came into the room took me as his villian and shouted at me not to come and see them.(Despite both my predictions coming out correct)

He still said, "No both of them are coincidental and because of their unhygenic dietary habits this has happened"

I said, "what about the 7 year old guy?"

He said, "maybe because you rejected she took to him purposesly base on your prediction, who knows?"

I then turned to the side of the girl and she said, "No nannagaru, I loved Suresh even before you took my horoscope to Shreeram."

I then left the place casting one final glance on the mother, who was a mute witness to all this.

The boy whom the girl loved wanted to help his father in clearing the attic and he climbed the painter's stool and as he was cleaning it a snake coiled on the attic, hit him twice with the venmous fangs right on the forehead and on his right side of the neck.

The boy(the girl's lover) fell down with a cry.There was big hue and cry.

People were brought in and they thrashed the poor snake to death.

He was taken to the hospital with foam in his mouth and he died in the hands of his father.

The girl's father came to our house, one month after the incident,"You are a mahan.You have predicted all the three events with stunning accuracy.I was foolish, Vinasha kale vipareetha budhihi.My daughter is now broken-hearted and seems lost almost all day.She cries every now and then bereft of her beloved.My wife is also sick and bedridden.Please help me."

He had brought her horoscope.I saw her horoscope and said, "Please brace yourself for another sad news but there is hope.Your daughter would try unsuccessfully for a suicidal attempt and after that she would come to senses in a week and would again fall in love another person and marry him.Please take care of your girl, never leave her alone."

It happened exactly like that.The daughter tried to consume "Dettol" one antiseptic lotion popular in India.She started vommiting and having hiccups! She did this despite her father eliminating all sorts of dangerous objects from her sight and always keeping the vigil.She had gone to the bathroom and consumed it.

She later recovered in the hospital after a stomach wash.Then she was packed to USA where she fell in love with a Northindian with whom she is now happily married and has two kids.

If had married her, trying to change her heavy karma.The snake in the attic would have bitten me and I would not be alive to type these lines to you!

I refrain from mentioning any names whatsoever for obvious reasons.

All this look like a story out of the cinema but facts are stranger than fiction.

Let the compassionate Lord of this Universe render athmashaanthi to the youngman who died due to the snakebite.May he have a long life in his next birth without any snakebite or dangerous death of any sort.May the Lord of the Universe and Creatrix Rajarajeshwari Devi save him in his future births from all dangers and sins.So be it,So be it,So be it!

Can I have the e mail address of this gentleman,as we live in USA,and my kids are going through very very hard conditions in business,and would like to send him their date of birth and find some things.
