That was not the real sequel to my Aghori-Yogi story of Simhachalam.

 

I went to Guruvugaru and then what happened?

 

I told Him what happened though He did not need it.Guruvugaru was a real Aghori.Infact he went beyond Aghora and became an Avadhutha and Athivarna-Avadhutha.Datta used to come to visit Him in various forms and initiate Him into many mantras and procedures.

 

His wealth was beyond Shaastras.Some fools who claim to be his real disciples do various things but he did not belong to any temple, any organization, any limit.

 

He was a true Bhola-shankar.His skin was made into a copper tone by His rigourous sadhanas.He believed in them.He was BhadraKala,KalaBhairava and Prachanda Bhairava incarnate though in a lean frame toward His end.

 

His was true knowledge, true Prgagnyaa and True sthithi.

 

I asked Him, "Guruvugaaru, Pray you alone can answer, why do all these Yogis come in my life? I have done nothing to merit all this.I have no scriptural knowledge worth knowing, no sadhana worth doing, no visions worth recalling...Iam afraid, I do not want all these. All my friends go biking with their girlfriends, they study, settle in life...What is happening to my life? Why all these dificulties? Why these frightening visions(I meant the walrus moustached autodriver and the Aghori-Mahayogi who appeared and disappeared)?"

 

For three days I was mentally disoriented.I stayed with my father's Guruvugaaru, in His room.He never allowed anyone to stay in His room except me at night.

 

I used to catch his wooden plank on which He used to sleep.(He never allowed anyone to touch Him)That wooden plank seemed to be His legs.I caught that in fright and slept lest some Aghori falls on me with 'love' from a windowsill.

 

Though it sounds funny when I narrate as a hindsight, but when I was through it, it was frightening.Forget films like 'Naan Kadavul' real Aghoris are even more frightening.They don't need to hit with their Satka.Just a twitch of their eyes can send someone into delirium.

 

Guruvugaaru said silently, "Raama, you are Her son.Do a thousand sins, yet She will save you.Work your fate, She will support you.She is compassion-incarnate"

 

I said, " Ayya, But if I sin, then I have to suffer.If Im Devi's son, so are all.If I have a tendency to sin, then Im not Devi's son"

 

He said, "Earth is a suction plate.(Ayaskthamulaantidhi was the word he used which means in Telugu magnet).It sucks people to do bad deeds, to do good deeds is difficult.Yet you will remain like a lotus among the slush.Take care to do respect your Gurunatha, when He comes.Datta had 24, you will have many more. Many births, with many saints, many lives you have seen.This is nothing but a continuum.Poeple will be jealous of you, laugh at you, but you continue anonymously, yet helping all.The moment ego rises his hood, you are finished....PHATTTT(He made a sound and said "egiripothaavu" meaning "you will fly" but He meant "you will die")"

 

I trembled and said, "Im afraid.You are my guru, no one else I know"(at that time Rajagopalar was not known to me that much)

 

He said, "No, I have given you soem mantras, the aghori gave you some instructions.Dont run behind books.You have a great Mahapurusha behind you. Be good, think good and do good.All will be good."

 

Then I got from Him a Dattatreya Vajra Kavacham signed by Him.He normally shouts at anyone who brings Him a pen but He caught hold of the pen in a unique fashion and wrote it with His trembling hands in child-like Telugu handwriting..."Swaprakashananda", only then I knew His deeksha nama was thus.I confirmed it with my father, who was actually instructed not to reveal it to even me.

 

 

 

 

 

Aghora path looks veyr romantic but it is very difficult.Out of 1000 aghoris you see, 1 will succeed, most in Kasi are frauds.Some have some power but they are not to be called Aghoris.

 

Many boast, when in actuality there is nothing.But at the same time, an Aghori also calls Himself Shiva,Datta,God,etc yet He is not boasting, he is being matter-of-fact.

 

 

 

 

 

True path lies in Athyantha Bhakthi.Bhakthi to God, to your Gurunatha.

Put God to test and also be prepared to get tested by God.

 

This is the only message, I can give you. You need not come from IIT to see me even if you are in the same city.I will come when the need arises.Moreover, there is nothing more this beggar can offer you except words, some love...
