If Ghee can be stored for over 100 years at room temperature as mentioned in this book ( the incident happened in 14th century, then, there were no refrigerators) , it probably is one of the very few edible substances that is resistant to bacteria . And hence it is very likely that when we burn ghee lamp, the atomized ghee spreads in the surrounding disinfecting the atmosphere. Does any one know if any such studies have been conducted? If yes, it can be a very powerful data to present during yagnas and other rituals to convince the audience regarding the scientific vision of Rishis that lead to various rituals. Does anyone know the procedure by which the ghee that is made which last so long? Also, what is the difference between ghee that is made of Cow's milk and milk of other animals? I also had heard somewhere that in ancient times, mantras were chanted during drawing of milk from Cows. Does anyone has references? Please help in doing search on internet and answers to many of these questions may already be on internet.. I really appreciate everyone's help.Kishore OngoleBe with Master RK always in all ways Explore your hobbies and interests. Click here to begin.
