On the eve of Maha shiva rathri I was fortunate to witness H. H. Sri

Swayamprakasha Sachidananda Saraswathi Swamiji, Shree Mutt, Hari hara

pura, just 20 kms before Shringeri while proceeding from Shimogha,

giving Shiva Deeksha to 3000 tribals in Chikmangalore, and explained

to them in simple language the importance of Sanathana Dharma, and

chanting of Shiva nama in particular. It was a real feast to my eyes

to see them take deeksha with lot of reverence. I happened to visit

the Shankaracharya Mutts at Hari Hara pura, Shakata pura and Shringeri

during the Shivarathri poojas.

Strengthen the hands of Swamiji who has taken up the task of going

into deep villages and tribes to prevent conversion by force.
