Guest guest
It was privilege to watch these videos but I stopped after watching 3rd video. Because then the aghori sadhu starts eating meat. That's the only thing I don't like. Sadhna should be sattvik that's what I think! There's a proverb in Sanskrit, 'Munde munde matti bhinna'. That means every individual, their brain and thoughts are different. So it depends on individual's opinion but I strictly don't like consuming alcohol, meat etc nowhere either it's meal or sadhna (worship). Guest guest
Dear Dhruvji, Aghoris eat not just meat but human meat, dog dead bodies, human and animal excreta, etc. Aghoris not only consume alcohol but the most powerful marijauna and other cocktail of narcotics. Aghoris live by their "Kappar"(Human skull shaped into a begging bowl) just like Lord Shiva or Lord Dattatreya. What the Aghoris do is nothing when compared to the Lord of Girinar, Lord Dattatreya Himself or what Kailasavasa Parameshwara does. No one in the "satwic" spiritual field would even think of doing such things.I personally do not do such things and have adviced viewer discretion the beginning itself. Aghora is according to me the most brave path to God. Not many can understand its depth. There might be a few Aghoris who are charlatans these days but many are good, real good. Aghoris prefer to shock the normal comfort-zones of most humans. They do it not to make a statement but for a focus on God despite and inspite of all the filth. To them as Ramnath says "Both the flower and faeces are equally good". Ask an Aghori/Aghorini to give up his life for Datta/Shiva/Amba...He/She will cut his/her head without even a second hesitation for the cause. Do we have such a bhakthi?Just ponder once before you pass further statements like" Why should we cut off our heads?",etc.(That is besides the point) If we do not like it or not know about something, we should remain silent, till we gain a proper perspective. This is my opinion. One should never pass judgements on how a "sadhna" should be. It is interesting that you used the word "Munda". An Aghori would love to hear that! Let me translate literally what the sanskrit phrase you said meant. I do not know whether you will use it again! "Munde Munde matti binna"---"Skull to skull brains are varigiated!". For an Aghori this has no meaning(literally) as he tastes the meat in each such human skull and says "This is what God offers me and have no taste for anything". If you want to understand this sect(which is by the way very dear to Lord Dattatreya) please read the trilogy "Aghora"(Part1,2 and 3) by Robert Svaboda. I personally would consider myself a fool if I pass such supercilious judgements.I can come nowhere near the worship and devotion these Yogis have.I prefer to roll at the dust of such Aghoris. My own life has been granted by one such great and authentic Aghori in andhra who spent 12 years in Benaras and various places.(Swaprakashananadaji).And I ahev moved with such people from my age of 4 including staying with them in smashans at such an young age and I know what they are, atleast to some extent. Ofcourse, this has no connection to my current path of Dakshinachara Srividya upasana. We don't even discuss such things here. But that does not mean a true Dakshinachara and a true aghori will not share the same cup of divinity. My two cents on the issue... But I don't understand one thing is that when they've grass, fruits, trees, grains why they leave that and choose to eat meat, dead bodies etc.!!!???I have read a bit of Vishnu Puran as well, I was reading through and where I found same thing of present Naivaidhya of Meat to Pitrus(Ancestors) I again left that to read further. It is true people like me who knows nothing about spiritual paths and I am like an 'Ant' to interpret all these! I follow all paths as it is, without applying logic in it except consuming alcohol, meat etc.I know that Lord Shiva is known as Aghori Sadhu and his almighty were doing these also. I also know in 'Shree Dattatreya Vajra Kavach' it says Guru Dattatreya is found anywhere in any form, a children, yogis and ghosts! That means Guru Dattatreya would also have been doing this. Guest guest
Dear Dhruvji, Truth remains the same whether it is accepted or not. Why do they leave fruits, grass, trees, grains and choose the horrible? They would like to lose their ghrina(disgust), which you have, for such uncouth objects. If God, exists in all and everything, then why should ne hypocritical about such objects and not even see them or touch them. This is their reasoning. They do it under the guidance of a Guru to overcome Ghrina in them. Every reseration you have, will become a hindrance to God. When you cannot even accept what is written in a " Satwica purana " like Vishnu purana then I do not expect you to accept what you have seen or read remotely about Aghora. Their very nature, I repeat, is to do things detested by ordinary society, and their path to God is unique. You call youself a " pipeelika " (ant) but don't you recognize that God exists " Pipeelikaadibrahma paryantham " ? This e-mail you pass your judgement on even Lord Dattatreya and that you are not able to accept what He is doing.(As also Lord Shiva and Vishnu Purana). So, will mere Ramanath Aghori living in the banks of Ganges stand before you? Tell me!(Hehe) Anyways, meditate, pray and be devoted with whatever little you know. The more you practice whatever you know, the more you will know what to practice. Because, God sees your true intentions and your heart & soul, nothing else. Please do not feel bad, if I have spoken anything " out-of-limits " . Maybe moving with such " uncouth aghoris " I too have become hard in my language! Paramaathmike'!! Guest guest
Don't worry I have not been offended by whatever you said Sir, because you've said the truth you knew and I do adapt. It's not that I think whatever they do is bad, there must be and is hidden truth/meaning which you described. It's my knowledge & truth seeking mind only creates such questions and queries from the God and devotees like you!Yes the only way of my solved queries is going closure to the God whether it's meditation, prey, sadhana or sharing knowledge from you devotees.I am really glad joining this group which has gifted me a lot!Dhruvpara_anuloma <para_anuloma wrote: Dear Dhruvji, Truth remains the same whether it is accepted or not.
