Vasudevanand Saraswati Swamy charitra in Telugu Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati (1854AD-1914AD) is also known as Shri Tembe Swami. His original name is Vasudeo, father's name is Ganeshbhatt, mother's name is Ramaabai and Grand-father's name is Haribhatt. As per the lunar calendar he was born on Shravan Vadya 5, Shalivahan Shaka 1776, 26 ghatika after the Sunrise. Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati alias Shri Tembe Swami Maharaj In Shaka 1797 (AD1875) he was married to Annapurnabai, daughter of Babajipant Gode (pronounced as Go-Day) from Sawantwadi near Goa at the age of 21 years. He was an expert Sanskrit scholar right from his

childhood. His fame increased over the years and he became Vasudevanad-saraswati after visiting Narasoba Wadi, one of the famous Dattatreya temple where Shri Narasimha Saraswati stayed for few months 500 years before. He became a sanyasi 13 days after his wife's death in Shaka 1813 (AD1891). His guru Shrimant Govindswami gave him the sanyas in his dream. He passed away on Shaka 1836 (AD1914) on Jyeshtha Vadya Amavasya (no moon day). His body was put into the Narmada River. One can seen the samadhi of swamy at Garudeshwar of Gujarath. Important information:Many powerful datta stotras were given by Shree Tembe swamy Maharaj and the famous Guru chartitra was translated from Marathi to Sanskrit by swamy only. Later on he encrypted the full book into GURU DWI SAHASRI. One can known many secrets of Datta sadhana by reading the history of shree tembeswamy. The famous powerful mantra of dattatreya 'DIGAMBARA DIGAMBARA SHREE PAADA

VALLABHA DIGAMBARA" was given by Tembeswamy maharaj. He is apara dattatreya and liked by dattaguru verymuch. Even statue of dattaguru came return back on his lap though he throwned the statue into the river. It is true..true and true that, many sadhaks are confirming that, whoever having the blessings of shree tembe swamy, they can get the blessings of Dattaguru very easily. It is really a personal experience in my life also in the Girinar yatra. Priorer to the visit of Girinar temple, I stayed at Garudeshawar and performed puja to swamy samadhi and after that, I had darshan of Dattaguru on the hills of GIrinar. Now the story of Shree tembe swamy charitra in telugu language is priting by shri GVLN vidya sagar sarma of Guntur as 3rd edition and wants to print it by the coming datta jayanthi for 2000 copies (23.12.2007) The willing devotees may send their

I have one question. After reading the book of Sripada vallabha charitam. I belive the famous mantra " DIGAMBARA DIGAMBARA SHREE PAADA VALLABHA DIGAMBARA " is given by none other than Sri guru SRIPADA VALLABAH himself. Can you please confirm.
