Guest guest
Dear Somnath and members, Sorry to have delayed my posting on the second part. Yesterday I was talking to Subramanyam Garu regarding giving this posting soon. The first posting(message number 1365 in Samrthrugaami-Dattavaibhavam group) stopped at "Gnaana Rahityam". I will take that thread of thought and continue here in this posting. These are my views and knowledge and ofcourse, each person might (rather will) experience a different truth. By way of postings, I just coin my feelings and remember the Smarthrugaami, nothing much. "Draam" is a very powerful beeja. My father and even Guruvgaaru were afraid, I would get a taint of Avadhutha-vairgyam(disinterest in worldy life) because of incessant repetition and they asked me to stop it because I have my karmas to fulfill in this "Ihalokam"(worldy plane). Now Parameshwara Proktha(utterance by Parameshwara) gives Gnaanaraahityam. Now this is slightly advanced concept. Many people equate enlightenment to Gnaana but little do they know that Gnaana also creates a kind of ego. Gnaana is said to eliminate all ego and the Ego-less state is Gnaana. This is the common perception and it is true but only at the highest chakra which is beyond even the seven chakras and beyond even turiyaatheetha. "Draam" has a shiva-proktha Chidagni Rakaarabeeja included and hence it burns away that subtle gnaana. Ultimately even Gnaana is a fetter. The moment you know you have gnaana, you dont have it! This is the beauty of Maya. The moment a thing is grasped, it escapes. Some texts voucsafe that the Datta-beeja is Krom. Now, Krom is an Ankusha Beeja and hence instead of syaing Krom as a Datta-beeja, it should be called a Datta-keelakam. Ankusha means the goad which a mahout uses to goad the elphant on the right track. The ego inherent in us is the elephant and the mahout is the Antaryamin inside us. Gnaana= Knowledge Raahitya= freedom from it. Ultimately freedom from everything is the state of nirantara-moksha. Then there is no returning back from the primal source. Thus, the Avadhutha path is the highest. Alla avadhuthas practice Srividya Upasana of the highest order. This is not known by many. They use their own body for the upasana. The Aam acts as Ankusha and Raa acts as Fire...fire and goad what more deadly combination can we have to sunder our veils? That is why my father and Guruvugaaru were afraid. However, without purificatory preparations and removal of basic karmas, it is not advisable to do Draam Beeja in a singular fashion. We say in Datta-malamantram...Asaadhyaakarshana and Aaam is representative of this. Asaadhya=That which is impossible and Aakarshana=attarcation, what is that which is highly impoosible to attract--> it is moksha. Many people misinterpret this as attracting every material comfort in one's life. The other day someone said to me that someone was saying, I went to Sucheendram and Kanyakumari but did not get married. This is not a correct way of thinking. The intent is very important. The intent should have been to visit these both temples in a day to get married and not visit the temple after a function elsewhere. The visit must also be made in the morning to Sucheendram and then in the evening to Kanyakumari in a single day. This journey has to be made with Dattamalamantra on the lips and then the Ihikasukham which Aaam beeja gives will occur...but then when the intent of the mantradrshtha(seer of the mantra) was to give gnaanaraahityam which is even higher than janmaraahityam then asking for petty things is asking Lord Kubera for a few pennies. Ra--Fire is the Parabrahma Tatwa Aaam --is the Gurutatwa Thus, Datatteray representative of both these tatwat shines through the Draam beejam. Next, part, I will start with a story on Brihadaaranyaka Upanishad in this connection...for now let me take some rest... Yours in Datta Shreeram Balijepalli Purity, Powers, Parabrahmam...
