Jagadguru Dattatreya was taken his second incarnation as Sri Nrusimha saraswathy swamy at Karanja in the Varad district of Maharashtra. He was a poineer in advocating the line of thought put forward by Lord Dattatreya in this Kali age. Shree Guru Charitra speaks very highly about the glorification of Guru and also about leelas of Shree Nrusimha saraswathy swamy. Shree Nrusimha Saraswathy Swamy, with his yogic powers and penance, represented himself as one who had come for mankind, to save from clutches of narrow mindedness and ignorance.Behind each and every miracle of associated with the name of Shree Nrusimha Saraswathy swamy, one thing was emphasized that the pleasures and pains of life are inevitable and are of no value but only the real value lies in attaining the ultimate goal of life, self-realisation, the final emancipation. The self alone is real and all actions are meant for purifying mind. The name of Dattatreya is the sublimely safe boat (Thaaraka)

that enables a devotee to cross the ocean of life with success. Lord Narayana himself said to Brahma "I am Dattatreya". Lord Dattatreya assured that "I am easily accessible to Bhakthas. You may offer just a flower, a fruit, a leaf or a spoonful of water or atleast my naama 'smarana', I am gratified and thou shall recieve my unbounded grace". There is a unique feature of Datta avathara. He is not born (Ayonija) from the human womb not does he leave his body as other Avatharas did. He is an eternal avathara. Datta Avatharas have divine mission for promalgation of right type of knowledge and not for killing any demon as it is the case with other incarnations. He is God-Guru (jagatguru), the Universal teacher.

The wisdom and philosophy of the incarnations of Dattatreya is the philosophy of Gnaana, Bhakthi, Karma and YOga including Dhyana all integrated. It is the integrated yoga or Mahayoga comprising all the Yogas. Similarly it synthesises the tenets of Advaitha, Vishishtaadviatha and Dwaitha and various darsanas or theories such as Mayavada, Parinamavada and Chitvilaasvada, the teachings are Universal and eternal. Shree Nrusimha Saraswathy swamy (Shree Guru) stayed for so many years in Shree kshetra Ganagapur of Gulbarga district of Karnataka and showed many leelas. At the end, he left for Shreesaila, one of Dwadasha Jyothirlinga Kshetra. At that time, he said that " Don't worry and don't

fill your hearts with sadness. I will always live at Ganagapura. I will always be here to accept your worship and will protect my devotees and disciples". Then Shree Guru started his journey towards Kadalivana of Shreesaila to reach his destination on the day of Maagha Bahula Paadyami. Whoever worship him with devotion and faith, they will definitely live forever in peace and prosperity under his protection. THis is TRUE! TRUE!! AND TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Till today, somany thousands of devotees are getting wonderful experiences of his presence and his blessings in their lives and leading their lives with unexplainable happiness. It is sure in confirming that, no one can get such happiness even they win a lottery/prize of ONE MILLION RUPEES. This year Shree Guru's anthardhan day is coming on 3rd February, 2007 (Saturday). In this connection Shreguru's Aaaradhanotsavams (Sreesaila gamana yatra) are performing in almost all the famous Dattaguru temples like Ganagapur, Karanja, Narsobawadi and Oudumbar etc., We are also performing the Utsavas at Shree GuruDatta Samsthan (Shree Datta shakthi peetham-temple is under construction), Markapur, Prakasam district of Andhrapradesh. Markapur is a place which is only 90 kms from Srisaila and Sadhaks are telling that, Shree Guru touched this place during his anthradhna time or during "Thanthuka srisaila yatra" (one can see this story in shreeguru charitra).
