Guest guest Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 My dear DATTABANDHUS , I had a long telephonic chat with SADGURU RAMASWAMY garu of the pithapuram DATTASAMSTHANAM y'day.I was seeking his permission & the matham management's permission for undertaking the translation of the SRIPADA SRIVALLABHA CHARITAMRUTAM into ENGLISH from telugu.(This permission is necessary as it is not going to be an original work).The original telugu version from sanskrit has been done by SRI MALLADHI GOVINDA DIXITULU garu.I was very happy to learn from Sadguru Ramaswamy garu that already the english version is half way through-they have completed translation of 32 chapters already & only 21 more remain.Though I felt lost & upset initially,I then realised that I WAS NOT SPIRITUALLY MATURE ENOUGH YET to undertake such tasks though I am mentally very enthusiastic.THIS IS AN EYE OPENER FOR ME.It plods me to strive harder to grow spiritually - spiritually mature enough to be considered worthy of being entrusted by HIM such arduous tasks.I seek HIS PARDON & the pardon of all DATTA BHAKTAS to have considered myself worthy of undertaking this task.
