Dear Dattaguru blessed ones!!! Pranams! Shree Gurudatta Upaasana means....sitting nearer to Lord Dattatreya. It means, one have to win the "indriyaas" and have to practice yogic nature. One have to see the datta figure with their heart (manassu), one have to sing (sankeerthana) with words and one have to perform pujas and mantra japa with body (kayamu). One has to try to kill the bad gunas like kaama,krodha,lobha,mada,moha, maatsarya, pysunya and asuya (jealous).

aavarna shaktaas are the main reason and acts as obstacles for sukha and shanthi. The "asuya" (jealous) is the main source for all the obstacles. The Datta sampradaya is also stating that one has to think about lord dattatreya with the heart of jealousless. Then Dattaguru will come to you immediately and take care of u. Hence the another name for Dattatreya is ANASUYANANDA VARDHANA. One who attains the above stage and perform the sadhana of Lord Dattatreya, then Dattamahraj will perform DARBAR and it is called as DATTATREYA DARBAR. At the time of performing the darbar by lord Dattatreya, then all trees will flow air, Gandhravas will sing songs, Apsaras will perform Dances and one can see the "PRAKRITHI" with ever beuatiness. AT the same time, Dattamaharaj will through his power to all the four sides of this Universe and the same can be termed as he will show his KARUNA, KATTAKSHA VEEKSHANA to all the foursides of this Universe. Then all the Rushis/Munis

will attain the Bhaava Samadhi by reciting "SOHAM DATTA....SOHAM DATTA....".
