Guest guest
Dear Datta Bhaktas, Sai Ram. Jai Guru Datta. I too visited Ganagapur on the same day, Saturday and had a rather different experience whcih is probably worth sharing. I was in a group of 5 dattta devotees and we reached Ganagapur on the night of Friday, the 27th. We stayed in Sri Vikhe Patil Bhakta Nivas and were blessed to listen to Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Stotra Akhanda Parayana that was going on in the same place. On 28th morning, we first took bath in the room and went to the temple and we could get the famed Kesar Lepan Puja done to the Nirguna Padukas of Swamy and we had to stand in the Archana Line for about 2 hours only. By 10:30 or so, we were out of the temple and after some light refreshments, went to the Sangam. Yes, the river is shallow but one can go a little more inside and almost waist deep water is available. I performed tila tarpanam and pinda pradanam with the help of a Telugu Purohit (there are now quite a few there) and felt very happy. I visited Sangam even in mid summer and while the river is not deep at that time, it never ran dry in the few years that I have had the fortune of visiting it. The water is quite clear at that time and even then there is a fairly good flow. I think the lesson to be learnt is that different devotees get different experiences, but His grace is there on all of us. Sri Datta Saranam. Swamy Smarthrugaami-Dattavaibhavam , " P.R.K.
