DIVINE TESTIMONIAL- EXPERIENCE OF DATTAGURU'S PRESENCE AT KURUVAPUR:

As already mentioned in our earlier messages, it is true that, Lord

Dattatreya showing his presence and giving boons to his devotees even

today also at Kuruvapur where the first incarnation of Dattaguru –

Shree Paada Shreevallabha disappeared in the Krishna river. I am giving

my own personal experience in the year Of 2004 during my visit to

Kuruvapur. In the end of 2004, we went to Kuruvapur with

total of 11 devotees. We Reached the bank of Krishna river at Atkur

village nearer to Kuruvapur by engaged a Tata Sumo van for to and fro.

FromThere we have to go with the help of " Butti " ( a round type

of wood mesh) to travel in the Krishna river to reach Datta temple. My

wife expressed her fearness to travel in the water. Then suddenly a lady

appeared at that place and told that, there is no fear to travel in the

water and she will accompany to travel with us. Then my wife agreed to

travel in the water. We reached safely and Had darshan of Lord

Dattatreya padukas by taking bath in the river. In return journey, 2

dogs were traveled with us from temple to bank of Krishna river to reach

Van. In the meantime one dog was dropped and one dog showed interest to

travel in the " butti " .. Then the dog was wept loudly by

expressing it's interest to travel. But we Refused to travel with

that dog. The 2 buttis with 5 members in one butti and other 6 members

in another butti were started in the river. The time is around 6.30 p.m.

The Day is nearer to Pournami and Moon light shadow was observed in the

river. By reaching the mid of the river, one butti crossed another and

the persons who are in another one are not visible at that time due to

darkness. Suddenly a sound of one devotee who was traveling in another

butti heared that " Sir! The path is not visible for the driver of

the butti and it is hitting the big stones in the river. We are going in

another way and sinking in the river " . Then our bodies were fully

covered with swetting and no reply is there from our throat. Then, I

have given instructions to our co-devotees who are in our butti to chant

`DIGAMBARA DIGAMBARA SHREE PAADA VALLABHA DIGAMBARA' loudly.

Then, we have started Bhajan of Lord Dattatreya and I showed my mobile

light to them. ( unknowingly, I have purchased a second hand mobile

which is having light facility NOKIA 1100, though I had interest to

purchase another one. The shop owner told that, it is very useful in

future). With the help of that light rays, the driver of butti

corrected his path and reached safely the other bank of river. Then, we

returned to our place safely and had memorable experience Of

Datta's presence in the form of Shreepada shreevallabha. We analysed

the reason -why the dog was showed interest to come with us. It's the

indication that, we are going to face a critical situation in return

journey. But Shreepaada Shreevallabha saved us and showed his presence

there.Even today also, while chanting datta nama, our mind is going to

recollect that unforgettable incident and Praying Lord Dattatreya with

full faith and dedication. It is the power of Lord

Dattatreya.Pls chant Digamabara Digambara Shree paada vallbha digambara

always and try to spread this nama to every person in the society and

have the blessings of LOrd Dattatreya. ::avadhootha chinthana
