Dear Shri ram ji I just want to share my experience on doing homa with 25 divine mantras given by goddess to Guru Sri Rajagopala ji. & Sri Saubhagya Ashtottra sata namavali (with the change of namah to swaha) On 11th June Sunday morning I woke up with the urge to buy the kits required for doing a Homa basically the homa kunta (the infrastructure required to make the holy fire) accessories & material to create the holy fire. I was informed that Guru poornima was on 12th & I decided to do a homa on guru poornima. (All are a push from within) I went to Gayatri pariwar center

in Chennai & picked up the homa kunta & accessories they also said that next morning they have the yagya I can come & see the ritual how they do the ritual in invoking ma gayatri, on the Guru poornima day.(Being a monday morning I could make it to their plan to go there on 18th) In the afternoon after getting the Homa kits I got a call from my neighbor saying that 11th is poornima (Full moon) & not 12th. I decided to do the homa in the evening. Believe me till I became a member in your group that should be about 5 months back I know nothing in ritual even the pooja format given with 25 names I had started doing only from 14th march06. Though I was into meditation for several years never got inclined to rituals After the moonrise & when I could see the moon from my pooja I lit the holy fire. The material was small pieces of wood which got either burnt fast or when I dipped jasmine flowers in Ghee & offered to the holy fire along with chanting, the fire was getting off and smoke was engulfing me & the whole place. I understood the mistakes & decided to re do the same next day. Next day (12th June) I did the sankalpa on a big lamp (Kuthu valaku) & started the homa the confidence levels was better, mistakes was corrected but still the jasmine flower bilwa leaves lotus petals washed was still wet (so had problems related to that) I completed the homa chanting 25 names panchadashakshri (9times) & soubhagya ashtrotra naivediya & the regular devi sloka (Devi suktam). I felt good that I was able to complete it. A little over three hours later it rained which I believe is auspicious. I was feeling that my baby steps with homa was accepted by Goddess.I plan to do this homa every full moon with the blessings of our divine mother. I thank my guru, our guru & you for my v v small progress with Srividya. I also endorse my gratitude to you for all the inspirations & simplifications in your postings Regards Rajiv Group Owner <para_anuloma wrote: Dear Krishnamoorthy Garu, Thankyou for your encouraging words. Iam an ignorant soul here sir. Iam no one compared to the great

Upasakas and yogis. Please do not elevate me in any manner. Iam not saying this out of mock humility. I really am nothing, whatever little is coming is from my Gurunathar and Amba. People have given their lives up for the sake of Paramba, before them I do not even qualify to wash the dirt off their sandals! ---------coming to your question------------ Srividya is the means to obtain BrahmaGnaana. There is no

difference between Sri Vidyaa and Brahma Vidyaa. It is for the same reason that Srividya is very much cherished by the practioner of Vaideeka Dharma. At all pethas established by Aadi Shankaracharya even today daily rituals of Srichakra is performed. Persons like Mahaa Kavi Kalidasa, Pandit Neela Kantaah, Swami Vidyaranya practiced Srividya and worshipped Srichakra. In srividya Sutras it is stated Aatmaivaakha Daakaaraha. Chaitanya Roopaa Chichakthihi. Seiveya Maanaa Maakhyam Srividyaa! Sri Goudapada proclaimed that paramatma is present everywhere in everything. The same Paramatma is Chichakthi the repository of Chaitanya. This chicchakthi has no name, form and is full of effulgence called Srividya. Thus Srividya is Brahma Vidya. All about Srividya and its practioners are well described in

Parananda, Jnaanarnava, Vamakesvwara Tantras and also in Dakshinamurthy and Dattatreya Samhitas, Mantra Maharnava, Mantra Mahidhadhi, Sarada Tilakam and Srividya Vilasam. In modern times there are texts by Maha Kavi Kalidasa in Laghu Stuthi, Charchastavam, Ghatastavam, Ambastavam, Sakala Janani Stavam, Devi Pancha Stavam. Srichakra is the manifestation of Shiva and Shakthi. Due to this Chakra of Raja the entire creations of the world takes place and Shiva is capable of the three duties of creation, preservation and annihilation. In Bhairava Yamila in Chandra Gnaana Srividya is described as Chaturbhishiva chakrishca panchabhihi. This Nava chakra Swarupa is Shiva shakthi in their enterity. Detailed description is given in the eleventh shloka. The four shiva chakras are the ashtadala padmam(eight petalled lotuses), the shodasa dala padmini(16 petalled lotuses, the mekhala trayam, the three mekhalas), rekha trayam(the three rekhas). The five shakthi chakras are the bindu, trikona, vasukona, antardasara, bahirdasara, manvasras. Combined with Bindu, shakthi chakras have forty interjections. Excluding Bindu Srichakra has forty three interjections only. There is unanimity in Srichakra between

Shatchakras(Mooladhara to Sahasrara Chakras). Panchadasi mantra strating from ka...to hreem has fifteen beejakshras for this body and universe. Tantra is real, but only the pure in heart will ever see it. The secrets in these intricate mantra are very difficult to understand hence can be known through a

competent Guru. Even srichakra formation has been described in different ways. Hence the concerned scholars have to be approached for full understanding and details. Next posting, I will elaborate on Shatchakras and shatchakropasana. For the moment I will take umbrage under brevity. Yours yogically, Shreeram Balijepalli Purity, Powers, Parabrahmam...
