Guest guest
Q.221) How to get direction from the Lord? DoHinduism and Christianity agree the concept of Humanincarnation? (A sincere Devotee)Ans) The direction from God is always true. But thenhow to approach formless God? If you ask God, He willnot reply from the sky. If you approach God in form,it must be human being only because only human formcan reply. But in which human form God is present? Godis present in a particular human form. Even some humanbeings in which, God is not present are also statingthat they are God. The actual human incarnation sometimes is keeping silent, some times says that He isGod and some times says that He is not God. Arjunaasked Krishna for direction. But Krishna may be or maynot be God. Therefore, even though Krishna ispreaching about the direction, Arjuna did not believeblindly. He asked questions at every stage andanalysed the direction given by Krishna. Takingbenefit of doubt, he considered Krishna as a humanbeing only and discussed with Him at length and indepth. Even after seeing the vision of Viswaroopam, hecontinued the discussions for a long time. This meanshe did not give any value to vision. Even demons can give visions. Ravana showed a visionto Rama in which he appeared killing Sita. Ramabelieved and wept and wanted to stop the war. ButVibhishana told Him that the vision is false and iscreated by the demon Ravana. Therefore, one should notdecide based on the visions seen by eyes. Saturnshowed a vision to Jesus in which he showed the entireworld offering to Jesus. One should not believe themind with emotion. Some times the mind is alsoaffected by the tricks of Saturn. When Rama went tocatch the golden deer Sita heard the voice of Ramacrying for help. Sita decided that Rama was in danger. But Lakshmana gave the argument that Rama can never bein danger. Finally Sita was proved wrong and Lakshmanawas correct. Therefore, emotional mind will misleadbut not the logical and analytical knowledge of thebrain. Hanuman thought of committing suicide when Sitawas not found in Lanka. But He analysed and droppedthe idea. Therefore, logical and analytical knowledgeand discussion can alone give the correct direction. In the beginning of Gita, Krishna told “ DadamiBuddhiyogam Te……” which means that only by logicalanalysis of brain, God can be achieved. Afterachieving God, logic must be closed and the heart mustbe opened. Sankra also told “ Jnanaadeva TuKaivalyam….” Which means that only through divineknowledge one can achieve God. After achieving God,devotion and service will come. One cannot achieve Godthrough devotion, because unless you recognize thecorrect form of God, how can you devote yourself tothat form? You must select one girl through analysisand fix her as wife and then only love her and serveher. How can you fix the best girl without analysis? At the time of Jesus priests were there who alwaysthink that old is gold and past is the last word. Theyhate the present. They have no logic. When theyarrested Jesus, there were no proper discussions andlogical analysis about His case. When there were nological discussions, He was crucified based on simpleemotional slogans. His death was not justified andtherefore He rose and walked out. When the soldier wasleaving finally, he pierced the stomach of Jesus withhis weapon. Then blood came out. Blood will not comeout from dead body. Jesus was alive and He was broughtdown by His disciples. Then He was kept in the cave.He knew the protection of His life. He walked intoIndia and met the king Salivahana and talked with him.His conversation was recorded in “Bhavishaya Purana”of Vyasa. This scripture speaks about the future.Vyasa wrote this long back. The verse in scripture is“ Esa Putram Cha Mam Viddhi, Kumari Garbha Sambhavam,Mlechcha Dharmasya Vaktaram…..”, which means “ I amthe son of the father of heaven. I was born tounmarried girl. I preached spirituality to Muslims”.Thus spoke Jesus to Salivahana. He stayed in Indiatill He attained the age of eighty-five years and diedin Kashmir. You can find the buried tomb of Jesusthere even today. On the tomb it is written “Jesus” inHebrew language. Jesus disappeared from home at theage of 16 years. He returned at the age of 30 years. He was crucified in 32nd year. From 16th year He wasin Himalayas in the association of several sages. Hewas a good Sanskrit scholar. He studied all the Hinduphilosophy and this is the reason why the Christianand Hindu philosophies are almost similar in concepts.Krishna told that He is God. Jesus told that He andHis Father are one and the same. Krishna told that Hewould come whenever there is necessity. Jesus toldthat He would come again. Krishna told that He is theonly ultimate goal. Jesus told that one could attainGod through Him only. All these are same concepts. There is difference between God in human form andhuman being posing as God. To differentiate both, analysis is essential like in the separation oforiginal diamond from artificial diamond. Once youselect the original diamond, no need of furtheranalysis and you can kiss and love the diamond.Krishna was God in human form and Paundraka Vasudevawas human being posing as God. Krishna told BhagavatGita and the latter could not preach any knowledge.Except this difference, external dress and doingmiracles were common in both. The priests believed the dead messengers and did notbelieve the then alive messenger. Jesus told, “Let thedead bury dead”. This means the priests were deadbecause they always lived in the past and never in thepresent. Those who live in past are dead and those wholive in the present are alive. This means that thedead priests will attend the dead messengers and theliving disciples will attend the present livingmessenger. When Jesus told that He would come again, that means the human incarnation will come again forevery next generation. Therefore, Christianitybelieves in the human incarnation that comes everytime as in Hinduism. There is no difference betweenthe two philosophies. The human incarnations of allthe religions tell always the same point. Thefollowers do not take the right interpretation andmock the other religion. The Christians criticizeKrishna and Mohammed for killing the evil people. Theysay that Jesus changed all the evil people alsothrough love. Then why the people crucified Him? Whythey did not change by His love? Why Christianitysuggests the permanent hell for sinners after enquiry? If love can change every body, there should not behell at all! Jesus told that it is better to punishyourself instead of falling into hell permanently. Therefore, he was indicating the punishment and hell.He is never against the punishment of evil people. TheL.K.G. students cannot be controlled by speech likecollege students. They need a strong cane fordiscipline. The followers always misinterpret theiroriginal preachers. Krishna tried His best to changeKauravas but as a last resort only, He punished them.Similarly, Mohammed fought as last resort only. Infact Mohammed was the incarnation “ Kalki” who killedevil people with a sword riding on the horse. Krishnais Buddha while preaching Gita. He was Jesus when Heshowed kindness on Sudama and Draupadi. He wasMohammad in killing the demons. For protecting thegood people (Pandavas) and for punishing Kauravas, Hewas cursed by Gandhari because of which, He died bythe arrow shot on His foot. This is crucification onlyfor the sake of good people like Pandavas. Both diedshedding the blood. He took the punishment on Him toprotect the real devotees like Pandavas. Krishna andJesus were born in the similar situations. Devilpeople killed the children born on their birth dates.Krishna left Brindavanam when He was 16 year old.Similarly Jesus. Krishna met Gopikas again on theseashore at His age of 30 years. Similarly Jesusreturned to home at the same age. Jesus quoted severalscriptures of Hinduism, which were filtered from theBible. Q222) Hindus are converted in to Christians. How doyou stop this conversion? Ans) I am neither Hindu nor Christian. I belong toUniversal Spirituality, which means that I am a trueHindu and therefore simultaneously a true Christian. Ilike to question the conversion being done is whetherbased on conversion of religion or spirituality. If itis religious conversion, I am not interested in thetopic. If it is a spiritual conversion, there is noneed because all religions have the same spirituality.Religion is only an external dress and spirituality isthe same person present in all the types of dress. Ifthe religious conversion is aimed at a politicalbackground by which a religion wants to increase itsnumber and thus wants to have a single kingdom ofChristians or Hindus, there is no spirituality. WhenJesus thought of spreading the kingdom of God, arevolutionist thought that Jesus was aiming to removethe Roman Government and establish Jadish rule, Jesusrefused to join hands with that revolutionist. If youare prosperous, the first people who are jealous arethe people of your religious community only. If youare trying to convert the entire world in to onereligion, the entire world will become jealous whenyou prosper. Is this your ultimate result? Only minority indicates real spirituality only toreach God as said by both by Jesus and Krishna. Jesustold that the path leading towards Him is very narrow.Krishna told in Gita that one in millions only canreach Him. Therefore, the minority is supported by theLord and not the majority. Quality lies in minorityonly and not in majority. Jesus told that wherever twoor three people associate to praise the Lord, the Lorddwells there. This indicates a qualitative minorityand not ignorant majority. You say that Hindus areworried about the conversion of Hindus intoChristians. But I find at least a few Christians arealso converted in to Hindus. Perhaps, the Hindu isworried since both the rates of conversions are notequal. If your worry is based on this point, you arenot against the concept of conversion. If you areagainst the concept of conversion, you should not haveagreed to convert Christians into Hindus also. I am completely against to the conversion from onereligion to the other religion because any religionhas the same spirituality and same God. The externaldress of God and the language of spirituality-syllabus differ from one religion to the otherreligion. Therefore, there is no meaning in theconversion. It is like two different classes of thesame school in different languages. The two classesbelong to the same standard and the same teacher goesand teaches the same syllabus to the two classes intheir respective languages. Even if a person changedone class to the other, the teacher and the syllabusremains same. Whatever may be the religion, he remainsas a theist only. If a theist becomes an atheist, then, we shall worry about him. Thus by conversion noreligion gained anything and no religion lost anything. After all, the person is in the same house ofspirituality and he has changed form one room to theother. I don’t know why some people are anxious aboutconversion and some other people are feeling for theconversion. The person does not develop by conversion. If a student changes one section to the other, hisstandard did not raise. Only his language is changedand syllabus remains same. Thus by conversion, one haschanged the culture and language only but not theactual substance called as spirituality. Change ofculture is not spiritual progress. In every languageall standards are present. He should try to go to thehigher standard in his own language and then that iscalled as academic progress. Similarly one should tryto go to higher levels of spirituality in his ownreligion. One should go up vertically from lowerstandard to higher standard in his own religion toreach the goal quickly, but not go horizontally fromone religion to the other religion. The former iscalled as progress and latter is waste of energy andtime. If a Christian is converting Hindu in to Christianity,I advise him “why you are so much particular about thechange in the culture which is the external religion. The internal spirituality remains same and thereforeyou have done only external conversion but not theinternal conversion. Since spirituality in bothreligions remains the same, you have not converted himat all. You have plenty of money and broad mind tosacrifice. You help the poor Hindu because he is apoor theist. He is not atheist.” On the same occasionI advise the Hindu also like this, “Most of Hindus arepoor. The rich Hindu minority has no broad mind tosacrifice to poor fellow Hindus. Neither you help thepoor people of Hinduism, nor allow them to get helpfrom broad-minded rich Christians. Majority ofChristians are rich and also are broad-minded. Why doyou worry? The Hindu did not become atheist bybecoming Christian. Only his external dress ischanged. He changed just his shirt only and you neednot worry about this.”I wish every human being in this world to recognizethe underlying common basis of all the religions, which is the Universal Spirituality. If that isrealized, a Christian will not worry even if theentire world becomes Hindus and a Hindu will not worryeven if the entire world becomes Christians. Eitherthe Christian or Hindu should worry if the entireworld is filled with atheists. Any human being canware dress of any colour. Nothing is gained ifmajority wears shirts of a particular colour and ifone celebrates that as victory, there cannot be morefoolish ignorance than this. One should become thefish living in the unlimited ocean of UniversalSpirituality .One should not linger as stagnant fishof his own river called religion. If the fish of theriver is patient to travel to the end of its religion-river, it will find the above said ocean. One can chose any religion of his choice in thisworld. All religions are equal but not all the stepsin any religion. All standards in a school are notequal but all classes in different languages of thesame standard are equal. The formless God, the formfull God like statues and the human form of God aregradually school, college and University levels.Hanuman is the highest among devotees and He alsogained the highest result, which is the post ofcreator. No body can be wiser, more devoted and moregifted than Hanuman. He worshipped Rama who was humanform of God in His time. In Valmiki Ramayana, therewas no single reference for Him worshipping formlessGod or energetic forms like Brahma, Vishnu etc., orstatutes. Similarly there was no single reference toHim doing Bhajans or doing meditation by mind ordiscussing about God using intelligence. Hanumansilently worked for the Lord and got the result alsosilently. Thus human form of God and practicalparticipation in His work are highest steps to pleasethe Lord. You should not say that all the steps areequal in a stare case, but all the staircases areequal. His Holiness Shri Datta Swami Warmest Regards, O.
