Omaha Now has a Spiritual Home!

 

Namaste. We have an important update to share with you about the Center for

Dharma Studies ashram currently being established in Omaha, Nebraska. By the

grace of God, the generous prayers and donations of our hundreds of local

supporters, and the active and enthusiastic support of the entire Hindu

community nationwide: We're happy to announce that we now have a building for

the Omaha Dharma ashram!

 

We currently have a beautiful five bedroom, three bathroom building that will

contain a large meditation and satsangha hall, a Yoga room, a library and media

center, outdoor meditation garden, art studio, as well as ample office and

teaching space. The future home of the Center for Dharma Studies is located in

a safe neighborhood on the far Westside of Omaha and is easily accessible from

all parts of town via I-80.

 

We plan to have a grand commencement celebration and open-house on Saturday,

February 20, 2010, from 12-4PM. Included during the open-house will be free

Yoga classes, meditation session, spiritual talks, puja, fire ceremony, a book

signing, and snacks and refreshments.

 

All of our many regular classes, seminars, satsanghas and spiritual services

will resume once again the very next week after the open-house!

 

If you live in the Omaha area, and would like to volunteer to help us get our

new spiritual home ready for the grand opening, please contact us immediately

at: info. Please share any cleaning, repairing, painting,

decorating or construction skills you have with us starting this coming Monday.

 

We still need donations, big and small, to complete all the necessary

renovations, equipment, supplies, devotional items, etc. that we'll need before

Any amount will be greatly appreciated. But for those generous enough to donate

a minimum of $1,000 before January 31, your name will be prominently displayed

on a golden plaque in the ashram's beautiful " Builders of Dharma " wall display

for all visitors to see.

 

Thank you to all those many sincere and dedicated students, disciples and

supporters of Sri Acharyaji who came through to make this important Dharma

project a living reality. Together, we are creating a truly wonderful spiritual

home here in Omaha.

 

Together, we are making Omaha, to quote Sri Acharyaji directly, " ...the Dharma

center of the entire nation " !
