SO THAT PBS (MR WOODS0 WILL NOT DARE MAKE ANOTHER DOCUMANTARY ON BHARAT WITH SUCH DISREGARD TO FACTS; 1- AARYA - IS NOT A RACE BUT SOME ONE WHO IS NOBLE AND HONORABLE 2- TOTAL DISREGARD FOR VEDA. 3- SOM RAS - IS NOT SOME BROWN ROOT TO BE BOILED AND YOU WILL GET DIVINE VISION; IN FACT SOM RAS IS A SECRETION FROM SAHASRAR CHAKRA AFTER A FRICTION OR FUSION OF ENERGY IN SAHASRAR CHAKRA. THIS RAS IS STRICTLY INTERNAL AND THE ONE WHO DRINKS IT CAN DESCRIBE ITS TASTE OR THE ECSTASY ONES FEELS. THIS ECSTASY OF DIVINITY COMES FROM SSAHASRAR CHAKRA NOT FROM THAT BROWN ROOT. i WILL WRITE IN DETAIL. _______ Contending paradigms of Indian history: Did India lack historical agency? -- Prof. Shivaji Singh. Chairman's address in ICIH 2009, New Delhi Full text of the address (download pdf): http://www.scribd.com/doc/10283577/ShivajiChairmans-Address-ICIH2009Press-Copy Friends, we have to rewrite the history of India afresh. In fact, we have to restore the status and prestige of Indian history that it genuinely deserves. We have to correct the image of the Vedic šryas that has been badly maligned. We have to expose colonial and post-colonial historians' ulterior motives. And, above all, we have to free Indian historical discourse from all such notions, assumptions, orientations, models and theories that are extraneous to Indian experiences of the past. Let's, friends, always keep in mind what our enlightened Rigvedic ancestors most affectionately wished and prayed for us all in the concluding ¬ich€ of the ¬igveda: " One and the same be your resolve, And be your minds of one accord; United be the thoughts of all, That all may happily agree. " (RV 10.191.4) Congratulations, Prof. Shivaji Singh ji, for an inspiring Chairman's address. kalyanaraman
