This article is for every confused Arjun in this universe. If you do

not consider yourself a confused Arjun; you do not need to read this

article. I am hoping each and every one who will read this article

will be inspired and try to recite Sri Mad Bhagwat Gita on 31st

December.

Every one of is a confused Arjun in our every day life. We have a

very simple written method delivered to us by Supreme Reality to

improve our life and live it to its fullest. Sri Bhagwan tells us via

Sri Mad Bhagavad Gita how to adapt to the present and He further

discusses an issue by rooting HIMSELF in the present. Every moment a

confused Arjuna opens the Gita to take the advice of HIS SAKHA< HIS

DEVATA< HIS IDOL; Sri Krishna. And through the immortal Bhagavad

Gita, Lord Krishna has been discussing and debating and finding

solutions to the various problems faced by the confused Arjunas for

centuries and will continue to do the same forever.

Margshirsh, or Margsheersh, is the ninth month in the traditional

Sanatan Dharma Vikram Samvat lunar calendar. It is also written as

Margashira Maas or Margasira. Margshirsh which follows the Chatur

Mas period, is auspicious month for marriage ceremonies, grih

pravesh (house warming) etc. In 2008, Margshirsh month begins on

November 14 and ends on December 12. Current year in traditional

Vikram Samvat calendar, it is 2065.

Some of the auspicious days that fall in this month include Mahakal

Bhairav Ashtami, Geeta Jayanti and Mokshada Ekadasi as well as

Vaikuntha Ekadashi. This year Mokshda Ekadhashi and Vaikuntha

Ekadhasi happen to fall on same date.

Margsheersh Krishna Paksha (Waning phase of moon) begins on November

14 and ends on November 27. Margsheersh Shukla Paksha begins on

November 28 (Waxing phase of moon) and ends on December 12.

Geeta Jayanti celebrates the anniversary of the day on which Sri

Bhagwan, Sri Krishan gave the Gyan of the Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta to

Arjun Kurukshetra on the first day of the famous 18-day battle in

the Mahabharata. In 2008, the date of Gita Jayanti was December 9 but

Margshirsh month is considered Gita Month.

Mokshada Ekadhashi is the day when it is observed all around the

world with the reading of Bhagavad Gita. This can be done either on

Mokshda Ekadhashi or some time during the month of Margashirsha.

" the teachings of the Gita are broad, sublime and universal. They do

not belong to any particular cult, sect, creed, age, place or

country. They are meant for all. They are within the reach of all.

The Gita has a message for the solace, peace, freedom, salvation and

perfection of all human beings. "

Each and every word in Sri Mad Bhagwat Gita is complete in itself;

each and every shloka in Sri Mad Bhagat Gita is complete in itself.

The universal and central message of the Gita is made famous by

the central theme in Chapter 2, Verse 47:

Karmanye Vaadhika-raste, Maa Phaleshu Kadachana;

Maa karma-phala-hetur-bhoorma,MaTe sangostwakarmini.

Sri Bhagwan clearly says;

Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya Glanir Bhawati Bharat

Abhuthan Dharmasya AATHMYANM SRIJANYAHAm

So let us pray to HIM with every fiber in us and ask HIM to APPEAR

NOW.

Om
