The sixteen initiations-continued

Namaste: In my experience, Maa and Swami want us to demonstrate our sincerity

and commitment to the spiritual path. They do not want us to say: " I love you " ,

and bow to them, then return to our " normal " worldly life. They want us to

demonstrate in every action that we desire the highest realization, then, when

we ask for help, they are 200% present for us, and will move Heaven and Earth to

help us reach our goal.

To be a disciple, we have to be disciplined, to be focused and sincere: one

pointed and purpose driven.

In this world of instant gratification, where we pay a fee and can get whatever

we want, Maa and Swami represent the axiom: " actions speak louder than words. "

You cannot buy their attention, cannot win them over with sweet words. They

respond to a focused mind and heart, filled with the zeal of one who knows what

they want.

In the 13 years I have known them, I have observed hundreds fall at their feet,

expressing undying love, and yet after 1-2 visits, I never see them again.

But those who give their best, those who try and stumble and fall, but rise and

try again-whether rich or poor, near or far, Maa and Swami always give these

devotees their Divine Love and Attention.

I thank God that She has incarnated on this Earth to help us. She has answered

our prayers and incarnated - now we just try our best, and She will always be

there for us.

I draw inspiration from all my brothers and sisters in this Divine Club, who

daily demonstrate that their cries to Maa and Swami are answered, and their

lives have been enriched by their Divine Presence.

She merely proceeds along the path until She reaches destination and that is

what initiation means to our lives. If we find that relationship and we really

truly decide to be initiated, we take the initiation. Initiation is not given;

Gurus do not make disciples. Disciples make Gurus. A disciple will come and say,

" That's the example I want to follow. This is what I want to be like. Those are

the qualities I want to inculcate and implement into my way of being. Now where

do I start? Can you suggest to me how I become more like your example?

entire life. What good is a $100 fee or whatever it is these days. What good is

the fee when I want your entire life? If you want to be a disciple, you will

I've been initiated or not. I don't need a certificate. I know if I heard that

in my heart or if I'm just listening to another speech. I know! And everyone

else will know when they see the change in my behavior as a consequence of my

taking this new knowledge. They'll know. There's no other need for formal

recognition. Now, for those who have a need for formal recognition, there are so

many ways to get formally recognized. You are the most humblest of all the

devotees but you want a certificate? I've got a certificate maker on my

computer, we can make you any certificate you like. So yes, on every level,

there is an initiation.
