Namaste. I've been away from the Devi Mandir Group for quite a while. But

personal health problems have drawn me back to the fold.

Today (Tuesday) I just came back from tests at the hospital. There is evidence

that the colon cancer I had removed surgically in February 2009, has returned.

They're talking about removing stil more of my intestines. I'd like suggestions

for how to combat the cancer. I'm only 58 years old, and hoped to have time to

teach, andperhaps write a few books.

Some of you may be asro;lgers, so here's my birth data --

February 26th, 1951; 8:06 AM, New York City, USA

Suggestions of remedies and sadhanas are requested. Thank you.

Jia Maa:

Sorry to note that the intestinal troubles have relapsed and need further work

to be done. Surely there are so many non-tradtional and herbal treatments

coupled with stricter diet restrictions have knowwn to be of big help and offer

exceelnt results. It has been known for ages thatthe cancel of the colon is

treatable by using the Asanas as declared by BKS Iyengar or by follwoing

treatment plans from Dr. Steven Chang based on old chinese herbs and of clourse

the Kerala Yogashala treatments, which are time consuming. Please study these

and also refer to Doctor Dean Ornish's books on natural cures and diet for colon

cancer. Good Luck, and we do offer prayers for for your quick recovery and

relief.

Jai maa. Please remember that there is no such thing as bad Karma. Karma is only

as is. neither good or bad. It is how we react, that determines the quality and

content!!

Dear Len,

I remember you very well, it is good to have you back again. I am very sorry to

hear about your health problems. I pray our Divine Mother will guide you and

keep you close to Her. I will be thinking of you and I will keep you in my

prayers. I am sure you will receive guidance from those more qualified than I in

the matter of appropriate sadhana.

Perhaps, if you feel like it and if you feel up to it, you could share your

wisdom here in this group now and then, I am sure we would all love to hear from

you,

with love,

Henny

I remember seeing your name on the IndoPagan . I am so sorry to hear

that your health is not good.

Try to meditate and do japa (repeat mantra) as often as possible. The

Mahamrtyunjaya mantra is a fine one, or your personal mantra or one that your

received from your Guru (if you have one). Do this at home or when you are

going for treatment, or procedures, etc. Ask Divine Mother to heal you. But

accept where Mother leads you. She wants you to be in the best place for you.

Read the Chandi. Mother has promised to be with us whenever we are in distress

and to remove all our obstacles and distress.

Ask the Prayer Club here to pray for you and with you.

Jai Maa!

Namaste Len

several things come to mind while reading your email.

if i may, according to my own intuitive work with people i have found that often colon sickness is associated with self hatred. it is root chakra and related to being in the body and self love. someone who can really help you pull negative belief patterns that you may have stored in your colon if you feel called to it is a theta healer. it is a wonderful life changing work, i have seen so many huge changes in my life and in others. i have literally seen the right beliefs pulled and a physical symptom disappear overnight, sometimes hours.

you can find someone to do this work in your area here.

http://www.thetahealing.com/globalsearch.html

there are many physical remedies you can take as well. as part of it comes with diet. and the health of our diet comes with the health of how we feel about ourselves.

- aloe vera juice is great for detoxifying and restoring the colon. heres the first page i found google searching "aloe vera colon cancer"

http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/cancer2/colon.htm

- wheatgrass juice - boosts the immunity and helps fight off all sickness as well as detoxifies the blood.

- kombucha tea - has been used for thousands of years to ward off and heal cancer of many kinds.

- pao d' arco - one of the most amazing cancer fighters in the world. you can even do pao d'arco enimas.

- and also strongly consider the master cleanse, in this book he talks about great reversal of chronic and life threatening diseases through the master cleanse. because it is taking all of your immune system and instead of dividing it, giving it the ability to target one area (see below for more). if you are not weak then this is highly reccomended. use your own discretion.

here is a link to his short book for about $2

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0963926209/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8 & qid=1263413532 & sr=8-1 & condition=new

if you want to heal yourself you must change your diet to one of optimal health, no preservatives, fresh food, healing foods, try to eat organic as much as you can, no wheat! wheat and other preservatives are actually looked at as invaders to the immune system. so it divides itself to fight the wheat, and the cancer, and the preservatives. if you consider the immune system as an army the more it can have on one place the stronger its chances are for success. so you can gradually increase success by not making it fight your foods.

also be willing to spend alot of money on the food you eat. if you are spending alot of money at the doctors then be willing to spend alot of money on the food you put in your body.

with love and the strength of kali ma,

God bless!

Dan

please feel free to email me any questions about anything ive sent.

Theta healing is a very lovely and powerful and simple healing modality.

I agree with all that you have said - I too am a holistic ractitioner.

I have vound that those who suffer with colon issues do well by eating stews and soups.

Smoking is the biggest nono along with coffee.

You will be in my prayers.
