To Kaliananda about Maa's Gayatri mantra

Dear Kaliananda ~ I would love to do this, but when I tried to pronounce the mantra, it didn't sound right. Was something lost in translation? The double A's didn't make sense to me. Thank you ~ Linda Jai Maa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
