Pranaams to devotees of shrImAtA

For many years now, we have had several posts related to the work AryA dvishatI

by Maharshi Durvasa. A random sample of such posts is

/message/3523, and also 7108, 9104, 11695,

11706, 11808, 11816.

Shri V.Krishnamurthy in his posts " A Digest of Paramacharya's Discourses on

Soundaryalahari " has posted Kanchi Mahaswamigal's views on this work, where he

classifies it as one of a triad of " superlative hymns " of praise of shrI lalitA

mahAtripurasundari, the other two being the saundaryalahari and

mUkapan~chashati.

The other 2 works are available in ITRANS format, whereas the AryA dvishatI to

the best of my knowledge is not. The advantage of transliterated version over

scanned one in my opinion is that it permits search and modifications (for

example, Shri Ravi had mentioned once that he was working on a script to

automate changing from devanagari to tamizh etc ?, which can be used to change

scripts etc.)

I would like to try and post this work starting today, but with a MAJOR REQUEST.

My transliteration is based on a copy of the text i obtained from Giri Traders.

Since i am not shrIvidyA initiate and have no knowledge of tamizh, there could

be many mistakes in the transliteration (i think the text has some mistakes as

well, but cannot say with confidence).

=============================================================

Therefore, i request the knowledgeable members to please excuse and correct any

errors in transliteration. Also, I will try to post regularly so that the effort

doesn't fizzle away. It will be good if some of our knowledgeable members can

contribute to posting notes for the text, so people like me can gain at least

basic understanding of the greatness of this work.

Namasthe,

Arya Dvishati (AD), Soundarya Lahari and Mukha Panchashathi (MP) can be

collectively called RATHNATHRYAM. AD is also known as lalitha Sthava Ratnam.

A regular chanting of all the three Ratnas is certain to bring the Grace of

Lalthambaa.

AD is the work of Maharishi Durvasa born to the Rishi Atri and Anasuya as s

Shivamsam while Dutta as Visnamsam and also Soma as Brahmasam.

Maharishi Durvasa is one of the 12 Manthra drishta of Sri Vidya . AD

describes the MERU as located in extreme NORTH and all its deities which

encompasses and describes the many many Anake Koti Brahmanda . at the speed

of light as per the present scientific information, it would take atleast

200 billion light years to reach the (known end to human beings) end of

cosmos.

What is in our spiritual Heart is in the cosmos. In order to unfold this

reality we need to pray intensively to Ambaaji and SHE WILL COME AS GURU at

the time of intiation and with the aid of SRIVIDYA Mantra one can realize

this Ambaa Consciousness in one's heart. But for all these Guru's grace is

very necessary.

If you see the meanings of AD, sometimes it looks strange. But ALL THAT IS

DESCRIBED EXISTS.

In the BOOK talks with Ramana Maharishi, in reply to a Sri Vidya upasaka,

Bagwaan confirms existence of all the Yoginies and says that can be seen if

one wants.

The Greatest Advaitin though always was immersed and merged in the Brahman

while the body, had installed SRICHAKRA over His Mother's Body and had named

the Linga as Mathru Butheswar.

Chanting AD would certainly bring the Grace of Lalitha Maha Tripura Sundari.

Regards

Ganapathy
