God's divine past times are so very sweet, so incredibly special.

There is so much compassion in Him for all beings. His grace is

showering at all times, on all beings, no matter how we may be. " Sab

per mori baraabari dayaa " Sugreev and Bali were very different in

nature, but in God's grace there was no favoritism. God does not

look to see if we are deserving before showering us His grace. His

grace is avail to all, equally. " I am equally compassionate to all

beings " says the Lord. If God looked at our qualities and flaws

before showering His grace, then how can he be considered

compassionate and merciful?

" Uma Ram sabhaav jan jaana, taahi bhajan tari bhaavan aana "

" Yo maa mevan sammoodho jaanaati purushottam; sasarvavid bhajati

maam, sarva bhaavene bhaarat "

If we understand God's nature, then he will instantly and naturally

become a devotee of God. When we look at God's grace, it will

immediately become clear to us how amazing God is. Thereafter our

attention will no longer deviate from Him. God is so incredible,

that we neither understand or know Him. If a child knew his mother,

would he ever cry in her lap? And if he cries in his mother's lap,

then where else will he be filled with laughter and joy? And even if

we don't understand, we still believe, just like a child believes in

the mother. If we truly recognized the glories of God, would we ever

feel sad? A child should be happy, when mother is bathing him,

instead of crying. Sometimes a mother can even make a mistake, but

God can never make a mistake. He is showering only His grace at all

times.

God's grace is happening at all times, only our attention should be

on His grace. Our work is only to prostrate in front of Him with our

heart, speech and body. What else can we do? What else do we

understand? Only those that God graces, understands this. God can

only be known by His grace. How else are we to know Him? He gives us

this human birth, these divine associations with the truth

(satsang). Even this satsang is out of His grace. Let therefore our

minds always be on our Lord.

Let us take refuge at His Holy feet. This we can certainly do. What

else can we do? How far will our intellect / mind take us? Therefore

let us call out to Him, and say – " He Mere Naath ! Mein Aapkaa

Hu ! " " Oh my very own divine Father, I am yours !

Jai Gurudev,
