Dear BhakthAs :

 

Garuda Sevais in the Months of Chitthirai and VaikAsi as well as those during BrahmOthsavams in particular ( Thirumala , Kaanchi et al) are very special .

 

During those Garuda Sevais , Garuda BhagavAn saluted as Veda Purusha carries the Lord on His back and holds the Lord's Thiruvadis ( Essence of Vedams) on His palms and displays them to us and reminds us that those sacred feet of His Lord is the ever present protection for us .

 

The Vaibhavam of Garudan has been celebrated by Swamy Desikan in His two SrI Sookthis :

2. Garuda PanchAsath : 65th ebook (http://www.ahobilavalli.org )

 

Earlier in the year , we had the bhagyam of enjoying the "Twelve" Garuda Sevais at ThirunAngUr Dhivya dEsams and Thirumangai Mannan's MangaLAsAsanam , Manjal

KuLIcchal and other releated uthsavams .

 

In a few days , we will have the bhAgyam of witnessing the 12 dhivya Garuda sevai of Thirukkudanathai based EmperumAns at Big Street , KumbakONam . Pandal full of PerumALs from AarAvamudhan , chakrapANI ,

Raamar , VarAha PerumAL to others in and around Thirukkudanathai on Akshaya Trutheeyai ( May 8, 2008) .

 

On May 26 , 2008 , there will be a not well known but equally eye filling Garuda Sevai of 22 archA Moorthys from the dhivya dEsam of VeNNARRangarai ( Three Sannidhis celebrated by Thirumangai Mannan ) at

Tanjore . As a seat of Maratta Kings , the Cauvery delta area has contributed so very much to Carnatic Music ( The Musical

Trinity ) and temple culture . Local kings and Merchants have built manyTemples for Sriman NarayaNa . Twenty two of them will bless the devotees on May 26 with Thirumangai

Mannan seated on Hamsa Vaahanam as ParAnkusa Nayaki .

Thanjavur sri ramanuja dharshana sabha is undertaking this garuda sevai of 23 lords every year for the past 76 years in a glorious manner under the blessings of sri ramanuja. this year the garuda seva in thanjavur is about to be held on 20th june 2011 . The garuda seva is about to come around all the vidhi that is the deva prayanam.Each and everyone who are reading this godly invitation are expected to come and enjoy this deivika anubhavam.
