Guest guest
Three kinds of Paaraayanam are recognized: 1. Nitya paaraayanam: As many sargas as possible each day. Saptasargi Paarayanam: Seven sargas per day for 9 days, and on the 8 th day last 5 sargas plus the first two sargas (repeat) . 3. ShoDashaaha Paaraayanam: Number of sargas per day as noted in order to complete in 16 days: 2-4-4-4-8-1-8-1-5-5-7-6-1-6-2-4 Preamble: Following shlokas: 1. Guest guest
I really appreciate your responses on this. I just took a look at the below link: http://www.ahobilavalli.org/sundara_kandam.pdf Is this what you would recommend me to read? I found the 68 sargas on www.hindunet.org and http://www.valmikiramayan.net/ but I found that some of the sargas have different slokas on each of these websites. It'd be great if you can direct me to an authentic source of sargas on the net. I also have a conversion of Sundarakanda written by one of the sages in South India in telugu. It doesn't have any sargas in it. Is it recommended to recite that book instead of going over the sanskrit sargas?
