[Vaideekam] grahana tharpanam

Respected Sirs,Pl., how many times, we have to do tharpanam at the time of suriya grahanam? Whether one time(as normal amavasai) or two times(normal tharpanam + tharpanam when grahanam starts) or three times(normal + tharpanam when grahanam starts + tharpanam when grahanam ends)kindly clarify.Adiyen Dhasans.balaji***Always the Tharpanam should be done only once.If there is a combination of many punya kaalams in a same day, then the rare one should be done and the frequent should be left.E-g, if Amavasai and Grahanam combines, Amavasai should be left and the grahana tharpanam should be done.If the grahana tharpanam time falls after sunset, then both the tharpanams can be done.In Sury grahanam the starting time is the punya kaalam and the tharpanam should be done at that time.Andin Chandra grahanam the ending time is the punya kaalam and the tharpanam should be done at that time.If health allows, bathing should be done twice on grahanams while starting and ending.Should stop eating Minimum 5 hours before from the time of starting of grahanam.nvs
