It most helpful & sentimental for me,because i was kept this photo earlier now it was misplaced. Kindly do the needful. Thanks & Regards Venkatakrishnan

But, I have read in a book that any perumal / mahan who's eyes are in closed position should not be kept in the house. So only i have raised this question.

Namaskaram to all ,

According to me, any Mahans'/Gods' pictures depicted in "Meditating pose" SHOULD BE KEPT

in pooja room not in living room.

In living room, you should keep opened eye photos only.

Shall we keep the photograph of an Acharaya / Saint / Perumal who is in the chanthing position with eyes closed in our house?

If, yes is it advisable to keep it in only Pooja Room / at Living Room also?

Pl clarify..... .....

SrI:

Dear Sri Guruswami:

GeethOpadEsam picture adorns

the houses of many AasthikAs .

It is an energizing picture about

the UpadEsam of the KaaruNya

Moorthy , SrI Partha sArathy

performing His magnificent

UpadEsam using Arjuna as a vyAjam

( excuse ) to reachus .It is both ennobling

and pertinent to see this picture and

reflect on the deeper menaings

of the context and content .Please

do not think ywice about keeping

this picture in your house and Pooja Graham .

The memory of one's parents are sacred

and there is absolutely nothing that

should prohibit in having their pictures

and bow before them every day for

the great upakArams that they have done

in their selfless ways .
