Dear Ahmed bhai,

 

[ 1 ] Since Mars is the lord of your destiny , therefore offering

some thing sweet at any religious place would be desirable. Since

there was a break in between, you should do it all over again. In

order to take care of such a break in the future the best thing would

be to keep a few grains of rice rinsed in milk at home. After keeping

the se rice grains, even if you have a break, it will not matter

much. The upaya will be considered as continuous.

 

It would be better if you offer the sweets at the shrine, and later

if they distribute to beggars it is alright. The idea is that the

sweets should reach inside the shrine and offered there.

 

[ 2 ] The antardasha of Rahu [ and not Ketu ] will start on January

3, 2009. It will last till November 10, 2011.

 

For this antardasha the sanskrit classic says:

 

mandasyantar gate rahau kalahashcha manovyatha

deh peeda man santapah putra dwesho manorujah

arth vyayam raj bhayam swajanader upadravam

videsh gamanam chaiv grah kshetradi nashanam

 

During the antardasha of Rahu within the dasha of Saturn there is a

possibility of:

 

quarrel, mental worry, discomfort of the body, agony to the mind,

differences with the son, loss of mental peace, expenses , fear from

the state, hostilities from the dear ones, change of place, loss of

property.

 

Therefore when the antar dasha starts you should :

 

[ a ] Get a male goat released in the wild, [ daan of a bakara]

[ b ] Keep in your purse a small solid silver goli wrapped in a

yellow cloth.

[ c ] Immerse in any river, once a year, 2 kg Jau [ barley ], after

rinsing it with milk, on any thursday after sun set and before it

gets dark.

[ d ] Now and then give some money to a sweeper.

[ e ] Avoid places which are filled with smoke.

 

[ 3 ] Donating Urad and mustard oil is very good for Saturn. Keep it

up.
