It is good that you are offering water to the Sun God. I think you should also appease Mars , your 10th lord, lord of the house of profession. Therefore worship Lord Hanuman every day praying and seeking his help to get a good job. Jupiter is your Bhagya lord, therefore I would suggest that you apply haldi tilak between your eye brows to keep the Jupiter strong. Priyaji, what is haldi tilak- is it the tilak from the hanuman mandir from the shoulder of Hanumanji, or do I use a haldi ganth to make a paste and then apply. Can the kitchen haldi be used? Please clarify.
