Khareji,

 

Native has cancer lagna. Mars is yogakaraka for this lagna as he is

lord of trine and quadrant. Jupiter is also a benefic. Moon is the

lord of lagna and he is neutral for this horoscope.

[bV Raman has clearly said in his " how to judge a horoscope vol - i "

that lagna lord other than moon is functional benefic while moon is

functional neutral when it is the lagna lord]

 

Moon is debilitated in the 5th house (Vrischika) in the horoscope and

malefic Ketu is also in the 5th house. Mercury, Rahu, Sun and Venus

are having graha drishti on the 5th house from the 11th house. Mercury

and Venus are malefics for cancer lagna and Rahu is of course malefic

while sun is neutral. This is NOT GOOD for the 5th house and things

signified by it like intelligence, learning, knowledge.

 

Lagna signifies physical body and though lagna lord is debilitated,

the lagna has functional benefic Jupiter in it which is good for lagna

as well as the lagna lord. So the 1st house position (which signifies

physical body/strength/physical appearance/nature of birth etc) is

okay placed.

 

Coming to Mars, he is the most benefic planet for Cancer lagna.

Unfortunately he is in enemy Saturn's house. IT is suggested that

Cancer ascendants wear a red coral to give power to Mars - Red Coral

is very suited.
