Dear Lalit,Lagna signifies physical body, apperance, physical strength,complexion, nature of birth etc.Lagna lord in a debilitated house will indicate a weak personphysically and not good nature of birthNow for studies, it is usually signified by the 5th house. Lagna lordusually bestows good results for all houses that it is in as it is inmost cases functional benefic. But since it is debilitated in 5thhouse, it will not be able to do so.However this is not enough to drive a conclusion. Look at following also:1. Who is the 5th lord in horoscope?
