BAGHDAD (CNN) -- Six U.S. soldiers died Saturday in and around Baghdad

-- five of them in separate attacks and one from a non-combat-related

cause -- according to the U.S. military.

The attacks also left 11 soldiers wounded.

A U.S. soldier from Task Force Marne was killed and two others were

wounded during an attack on a forward operating base in southwest

Baghdad, the U.S. military announced Sunday.

Another soldier from Task Force Marne was killed and two were wounded

when their dismounted patrol was struck by a roadside bomb 15 miles

southwest of Baghdad.

A Multi-National Division-Baghdad soldier died and three others were

wounded when their vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb, followed by

small arms fire, in southwestern Iraq.

Another Multi-National Division-Baghdad soldier died and one was

wounded when their combat security patrol was attacked with small arms

fire in eastern Baghdad.

A similar attack in western Baghdad killed one MND-B soldier and

wounded three others.

Another MND-B soldier died Saturday in a non-combat related incident

that is under investigation, the military said.

The number of U.S. military deaths in the Iraq war now totals 3,322.
