Guest guest
Hello list members, As has been mention before, the strength of planets in October and November has been much less than usual. The strength is calculated on the basis of signs passing into infancy or old age, sign of debilitation and the same influence as per the planets dispositor. This last item only applies when planets pass through moolatrikona signs. Moreover, combustion does not apply to the sun (unless in MT sign of combust planet), or infancy and old age does not apply to the nodes. These caclulations show the upper boundary of the strength. They do not include the impact of affliction. The strength could therefore be less if a planet is also afflicted. This situation of pervaisive planetary weakness has added an element of vulnerability to the lives of most people at a time when four of the slow moving planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu) are changing signs. The fact that these planets were weak in old age or infancy has contributed to the overall weakness. Moreover, due to the overall weakness, transit afflictions have been more difficult than otherwise, especially involving the station of the nodes at around 1° Pisces and Virgo since August 2006. When we compare the observed strength in October and November of this year with a long term average (1986-2021), we notice that the planets have been exceptionally weak - only half of their average strength on average. With the exception of Rahu, they are well under the required 60% strength to be able to defend their significations. Mars and Saturn are especially weak - less than a third of their average long term strength, which would make the functional indications of these planets especially vulnerable in a given chart at this time. Up until 9 November, Rahu was in Pisces, a non-MT sign, and hence in full strength. From 9 November, however, it has moved into the sign of Aquarius and hence its strength for the coming one and half years depends on the strength of Saturn in transit. Table: Average strength of planets Long term average strength (1986-2021) Average strength in Oct-Nov.06 Average strength in Oct.-Nov.06 as % of long term average Sun_ad 70% 38% 55% Mer_acd 57% 36% 63% Mar_acd 72% 24% 33% Ven_acd 68% 36% 54% Jup_acd 71% 32% 45% Sat_acd 68% 18% 27% Rah_dd 79% 70% 88% Ket_dd 82% 40% 49% Average 71% 37% 52% The good news is that in November we see the slow moving planets having completed the change of signs and the lifting of the nodal station. As a result, a lot of the pressure begins to dissipate. At the same time a new direction in the affairs of many countries, even at the world level, should begin to manifest. Guest guest
Hello list member, If we exclude Rahu from the calculation of the average strength of planets it becomes even more dramatic. From 24-30 October, the average strength of the planets fell below 10%, even as low as 7%. This is a very exceptional situation. The weakness of the planets owed in part to the weakness of Venus, which was combust the Sun in the sign of Libra, while serving as host (dispositor) to a number of planets. Some of the weakness of other planets is explained by their being also in a state of combustion. The Sun was also weakened by being in its sign of debilitation. Also, please note that the long term average strength of the planets is around 71% and not 76,5% as shown in the previous graph. A new chart is attached showing the strength calculation excluding Rahu. Guest guest
Hello dear Chuck, It refers to the type of calculation. a: age (infancy or old age) c: combust d: dispositor d: debilitation with one exception - a single d in e.g. sun_acd means dispositor and debilitation. That said, it was put in as reference. I forgot to remove it in the table and readers may just ignor it.
