The commander of the ship, who holds the rank of lieutenant commander, is still missing. The navy said rescue ships and helicopters are searching the Bay of Bengal to try and locate him. The rest of the crew on board the ship are all reported to be safe. The Bangladesh Coast Guard says that more than 100 fishermen are reported to be missing feared drowned and rescue operations have been launched to trace them.
